Thanks but I have checked the settings.

Ref my post May 9, 2009: Mouse will not work on left click; I have to right click and choose Open. I'm using Windows XP Professional, Office 2007, and IE8, BUT this only happens on web sites.

So far, I have checked settings, updated driver, and changed mouse. When I made the double click slow, it improved some; now it fails intermittently.

Go into control panel and click on "mouse" to check your settings. You can set your mouse to several different combinations on what it does upon right-click or left-click..see if your settings are correct. If you have any questions let me know.

When you ask a question we need all the details. You should have mentioned that in your initial question; what you have done so far to correct the problem it would save time for everyone...now I get an average rating and you have no answer because of it..checkihng your settings is a starting point for us, if we don;t know you did it then we have to suggest it..now you'll need to repost cause when you gave the rating you closed out the question.

Please i cannot use my dynex wireless optical NB mouse

you might have to uninstall the mouse then restart your computer then reinstall the mouse and its drivers
make sure the battery is good (has full charge)also you might test the usb device for the mouse is inserted correctly into the usb port (if applicable)
click start control panel mouse you should see 4 tabs buttons, pointers, pointer options and hardware under hardware you can troubleshoot also you can select properties under driver you will have options to update driver, rollback driver or uninstall and under hardware you can troubleshoot
in xp
hope this helps

My Dynex wireless mouse doesn't work? am I supposed to install any drivers? Im using Hp laptop dv4-1435dx with vista home premium

There is a Dynex software suite that comes on a disk with the mouse -- this suite provides the mouse's driver as well as additional functionality such as changing button properties. You can download the driver from DynexProducts.com (be sure to get the right one for your specific mouse and operating system).

How to connect a dynex wireless optical mouse w/my windows xp?

Hi, connecting the Dynex Wireless Optical Mouse is easy. First, you need to install the driver for the mouse. It should have come packaged with the mouse, on the CD-ROM. If you don't have the CD-ROM you can download the driver from the website and install it:

http://www.dynexproducts.com/productSearch.html?query=wireless+optical+mouse&mainSearchButton=

Scroll down to "Dynex Wireless Optical Mouse" and click "English" next to "Driver:" to download it, then unzip it and install it.

Once you've installed the driver, all you have to do is put the two AA batteries in the mouse, flip the switch on the bottom to On, and insert the USB receiver into your computer. Your mouse should be usable right away!

I have a dynex wireless optical mouse but my laptop will not recognise it

Have you installed the driver for the mouse? Did you install it before actually attaching the mouse's USB receiver? The driver should be installed first. You can download it here:

http://www.dynexproducts.com/productSearch.html?query=wireless+optical+mouse&mainSearchButton=

Scroll down to "Dynex Wireless Optical Mouse" and click on "English" next to "Driver:" in order to download it.

If you've already installed the driver and your computer still won't recognize the mouse, press the Connect button on the receiver, wait for the light to flash, and then press the Connect button on the mouse. The light should stop flashing and the mouse should be ready to use.
