Try LumenArc. They stock a range of ballasts. If yours is not listed, then email them.

If you look on ebay there are a few LP500/530 for sale .. I myself have just purchased one for £30 with a working bulb ( worth it for the bulb alone ? ) you may find it easier as you have a bulb to get another unit .cost wise it will probably be cheaper and less bother ... Regards Vortash

Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time.

I have a Infocus Lp530 that as soon as you plug it in, all the lights on the top will continually flash green and an audible clicking sound can be heard. These two things occur before the power button is...

You can try removing the main board & reseating it. Also try plugging into another outlet & make sure the plug has a ground prong on it. Itshould have 2 flat & 1 pin shaped prongs. Otherwise the clicking sound may be the lamp trying to ignite. Normally when you plug in the LP530 the green power light is on steady & then you press it to start the lamp. If its flashing as soon as you plug it in it's likely that the main board is bad, the button board is bad, or the ballast/power board is bad.
You should remove the lamp & inspect it. It should be clear without bulging in the little bulb behind the lamp glass. I service LP530s all the time & something like that is usually the main board.
Good luck,
Jim

Flash of my Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS not working at all

Has the camera been dropped at all? It may need a new bulb. Most camera stores replace them rather cheap.. But if you want to do it yourself..
How to Replace Your Digital Camera Flash Bulb Like any light bulb, your camera flash bulb can blow at any time. The rest of your camera might be state of the art, but the flash bulb itself is relying on some pretty old fashioned technology. Unlike a light bulb, however, replacing a flash bulb can be a little difficult. Depending on the type of camera or flash you have, some dissection might be required.
Step 1: Choosing the Bulb There are literally dozens of different shapes, sizes and connectors used for camera flash bulbs. These will typically vary depending on the manufacturer. However, be warned, many manufacturers will use different types of bulbs in different cameras. Just because you have a Fuji camera, for example, doesn't mean you can buy any Fuji flash bulb.
Step 2: Safety First Camera manufacturers will never advise you to replace the camera bulb yourself unless you know exactly what you are doing. This is because your camera's flash uses very high voltages. A capacitor will be charged up in order to fire the flash. This capacitor can stay charged for months, if not years. If you're not confident doing this job yourself, then you will need to take it to a camera repair shop.
Sometimes if the camera is too old, you might consider using it as an excuse to upgrade it for a newer model rather than repairing it.
Step 3: Dismantling the Camera Now, you will need to dismantle the camera carefully so that you have access to the flash bulb itself. This may be time consuming and nerve-wracking. One false move could end up breaking the delicate plastic case of your camera.
Once the camera is dismantled, you should then discharge the capacitor safely so that you can continue to work on the camera.
Step 4: Removing the Old Bulb Most bulbs are soldered directly onto the circuit board. In this case, you will need to use a soldering iron to heat up the solder at the back of the bulb and carefully pull it away from the board. This can be difficult, as you need three hands to do it properly. With the old bulb removed, try to clean up the solder pads as much as possible so that the new bulb can fit properly.
Step 5: Replacing the Bulb Push the legs of the replacement flash bulb in position through the holes in the circuit board. Then, using a soldering iron and some solder, fix it in place. Be as accurate as possible to prevent shorting out the circuit. With the bulb in place, cut back the legs of the flash bulb so that it doesn't stick out too far from the board.
Step 6: Reassembly With the replacement flash bulb fitted in the digital camera, you will then need to reassemble your camera. This will be easier if you kept all of the screws in a safe place. This is the one occasion where it's a good idea to assemble before testing simply because of the high voltages involved.
Step 7: Testing Now, put the battery back in the battery and try taking a photo with the flash. Check whether it works; if not, you will need to investigate the cause of the problem

I have a whirlpool side by side refrigerator model no GS5SHAXNB00 refrigerator light blew this morning i replaced the bulb no lights working on refrigerator side and temp control settings

you need to replace the main/board for sure located in the lower rear left hand wall of the unit in a plastic case, it will have 3 wire harnesses unplug the unit, undo the plastic container and unplug the the board and there will be a burned spot on the case and burned trace on the circuit board, reason being, this is very common on any of these sideXsides,if a light blows out in the refrige compartment it puts a surge on the board and burns the circuit trace open, this makes the digital temp read-out go dark and if the lamps light at all they "strobe" dimly or not at all,and you will hear a clicking of the relays in the rear area trying to latch the light bulb circuitry, but cant because the main/mother-board is defective now

Then click on "find other products with this part number". Then all the main boards show up with that part number. A couple of them should be should be in stock.

No pwer to Infocus sp 4805

My 4805 made a loud pop noise and smoke and died.

I thought it the bulb and wasted $340 on that purchase.

They are subject to overheating and the main circuit board may be fried.
It cost me $50 for a tech to confirm my suspicons of the same.

Look at the main circuit board and you might idenify a scorched
overheated area.. My shop told me you can purchase a new main
board.. Diagnosed by no power to the bulb...

Brake lights quit working

Tail lights acting insane?

We had the same issue with our 2000 Pontiac Montana. Brake lights, turn signal lights, running lights, back-up lights and emergency flasher didn’t work at all or operated at random. The cause: poorly designed aluminum contacts on the tail light circuit board and wiring harness connector arced over and disintegrated with normal use.

Pull the tail lamp assembly, remove the electrical connector and look for burned contacts on the connector plug and the connector socket (they call this long plastic piece with the socket the circuit board: it includes the four bulb sockets. Replace the circuit board and the wiring connector.

You can DIY this job with basic auto mechanical/electrical skills and tools. The two circuit boards and the two connectors set me back $230 (2009 cost) for new parts. The electrical contacts on the factory replacement parts are improved.

I needed a T-30 torx driver to remove the tail light assembly (you need this to change out bulbs, too), wire cutters, wire strippers, electrical tape and an electrical lug crimper to do the job.
