Can't clear the programming when programmed incorrectly or want to bake a second loaf of bread

Need to be able to clear the programming on my cuisinart bread machine. There is no obvious way to do it and it is most inconvenient. I have lost many loaves of bread as a result.

How many pounds is xl bread

an xl loaf would be determined by the amount of flour you use. a standard 2lb large loaf is made usingc 560gms (19.7ozs)flour. i make my loaves using 850gms (30ozs) flour. the end result is an xxl loaf. (i don't bake it in the bread pan. i have an extra large loaf tin. one thing to note, is when using more flour all the other ingrediants apart from the yeast need to be increased too . good luck.

Bread machine code H:E

That is a feature on your bread machine that prevents you from starting a loaf of bread when the oven is too hot fro the last loaf. You need to open the lid, leave it open for 30 minutes then bake your next loaf.

I have the Panasonic Breadmaker SD255 (5 stars) and just yesterday evening I made the `Banana and Walnut loaf' - 'Bake only' (45mininues). After the 45 minutes I pressed Start/Stop and checked my loaf and...

Hi, you are choosing the wrong program when you push start/stop. You need to either just add another 10 minute to the timer or choose the bake program again and add time to the timer. Hope that makes sense. once you push stop and then push start it defaults to the basic program and it is going to tell you the chamber is too hot. If your dough was risen and ready to bake you need to stay on the Bake program and add time in 10 minute increments until passes the "toothpick" test.

I just ran this through the super rapid cycle as desicribed in the manual when first using the machine. Now I want to make a basic white loaf and the display reads "E01". What does this mean?

That just means that your machine was too hot to make a loaf of bread so soon after completing the rapid program. Bread machines need to cool off about 30 minutes before starting the 2nd loaf. They are designed that way to prevent poor baking results due to overheating of the yeast too early in the process. Please vote/rate/rank/testimonial this answer.......
Thanks!

My power went out and now I can't finish baking my loaf - only had 30 minutes left - and I get an error E01. What can I do to salvage my jalapeno bread

If you can get the loaf out of the pan try finishing it in your oven for another 30 minutes. If your power is back on just choose the bake only program and set it for 30 minutes.

Power cut off with 54 minutes to go on the loaf in the machine. Any way to move it and reset the time?

Recommend you unplug and plug back then choose the bake program...and set the timer for about 50 minutes....that is roughly equal to the bake time on most programs....

Need programing manual for an Oster bread machine. We've lost the manual and need to know how to "program" it. For today, naturally, since we don't use it much.

Kind of feel around in the dark. The object was to have the machine mix and knead, then actually bake in pans in an oven which was already warm from cooking turkey, etc.
Took some doing without the book, but we figured it out, and just jerked the loaf at the right time, before the baking process began!

I had the same problem and what you need to do is hold the start button down for 3 seconds and that will clear the default setting (1 3:30). Then select the settings you need starting with the program setting for your recipe (i.e. #4 for sandwich bread). Bear in mind that you may not be able to select your crust light/dark option for some recipes, but will be able to select the loaf size. I assume this is because the recipe program (i.e. #4 for sandwich loaf) is already prescribed in the setting. When you have all of your selections then press your start button, but don't hold it down for longer than a second because it will clear everything and you will have to start again from step 1. Good luck!

Baking gluten free bread in model 5890

good day,
hope this link below will solve your problem.

Set your bread machine program for 1.5 loaf medium crust. I used the gluten-free cycle on the Breadman; if you don't have a gluten-free cycle, I believe a rapid rise cycle will also work.

Check the dough after a few minutes of kneading- it should be closer to a muffin batter than bread dough, soft but not too wet. Adjust dry to wet ratio with a tablespoon of flour or warm liquid, as needed. Humidity influences the dough. As does temperature (your bread will rise higher on a hot day).

If you like a crusty loaf, remove the bread from the pan and place it in the oven at 350 degrees F for an additional 10 minutes- keep an eye on it and don't let it get too brown. It should be a light golden color.

Cool the loaf before slicing for best results.

Enjoy fresh from the oven- the first day (as with most gluten-free baked goods) has the best texture and taste
