Question about Canon PowerShot A75 Digital Camera

Cannot insert Memory Card

When I try to insert new Memory Card, it will go in except for the last 1/4 inch.  It feels like there is an obstruction at the bottom of the slot. The little black button to the right is free-wheeling (not as it was before this problem occurred.

I have a similar problem. The memory card will not go in all the way. I don't think my black card-eject button has changed. I know the memory card is fine because it works in another camera. I have looked into the memory card slot and think that one of the pins is bent over.

Camera keeps telling me to reinsert the memory card. I've tried to new cards. When I put the memory card I was replacing because it is full, it goes back into the camera just fine.

As a last resort you could copy the full card to a computer and then delete the pictures on the card and use that again.

Here is the error list from the camera manual.
This is all I can suggest from here.

Insert the "Memory Stick Duo" correctly.

I have a Kodak EasyShare C330. I have a new memory card Kodak SD Card 128MB. When I insert it in the camera, a message displays stating memory full. When I try to format the card to the camera I received...

This error message means that the card is corrupted or formatted for another digital camera. Turn off the camera. Insert a new card or format the card.
Try to format the memmory card using a card reader and the PC this should solve your problem if not you have to replace the memmory card.

What size in inches is a A85 memory card. I put

The A85 uses a Type 1 Compact Flash (CF) card. If you're trying to put an SD card into the slot, it won't work. Using a strong light, check carefully in the card slot that you haven't bent any pins before inserting a CF card.

Can not insert memory card

If this phone is new, there may be a dummy card that is in the slot for protection. remove the dummy card before you insert a real card. If the phone is not new and you have inserted one before, there may be an obstruction blocking the slot or, the cooper prongs are bent.

Memory card stuck in camera slot

No need for pliers! I was able to eject the memory card by sliding a packing knife along the edge of the memory card. The blade was very thin, narrow, and long. I'm not sure if a regular box cutting knife blade would do. I've been able to eject the memory card with ease about a dozen times using this method.

Since I can't eject the SD card on the go, I use the USB cable to download images from the camera. Glad to know I can remove this when absolutely necessary, but sure wish I could remove anytime I'd like.
