I can't reset my router. (by 2 users)
I am trying to setup my router. I have tried to reset it. But I am still unable to get into the setup screen. I can get as far as the window that asks for the user ID and the password. The manual says to type in "admin" for the user ID and not to type in a password. I have tried this coutless times. I have tried to reset the router as well. I get the same response, " User name / password is not valid" I have tried to do this with a wired connection and with wireless connection. I get the same response. Any suggestions? Thank You, Jamie

i can not access the dlink router dl-614 web page, tryed to reset to default, but can not even ping 192.168.0.1
WizTo reset the router, the best way is to press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds, or to press the reset button for 60 seconds..and for first 20 sec hold the reset with the power cable connected and for the next 20 sec with out releasing the reset button disconnect the power cable and continue holding the restet button , and after 20 sec reconnect power back and then continue holding the reset for another 20 sec..
and this would fix your problem..
