Machine is displaying "Decalcify" message; I do not know how to do this

My Saeco Incanto Classic Espresso Coffee Machine has a message saying "Decalcify Ready for use". How do I decalcify the machine? I have decalcification granules that a friend gave me but I do not know what to do.

I believe the machine is telling you that it has already ran through the decalcification proceedure, and that it is ready for use.

hi,probably your machine is need decalcify. Try to turn on the hot water knob when you start the machine. Fill about 1 water glas with hot water from machine.If the ventilate is still appear-you must decalcifying machine with special liquid for descaling.

My Saeco Incanto Deluxe occasionally overflows with dregs and water under the machine prior to the "dreg drawer full" message being displayed. Is there a counter tray available for this machine?

Grounds and water under the machine or drip tray indicate that the drain behind the brew unit is plugged.
Remove the brew unit. You will see the injector in the back of the machine. Below the injector is a pocket that the excess pressure is relieved into when the machine is done making a coffee. This pocket will plug up with ground and oils. The drain is just above the center of the drip tray. Insert something into the drain and see if you can unplug it. Once it has drained run some hot soapy water through the pocket.

You need to buy the cleaning solution and run the descale. This is explained in the manual

im not a saeco folks but i buy those machine on ebay and repair them decalcify ready to used mean its ready for you to put descaling product in machine and you press on it will start the descaling sequence if you dont whant to descale i sujject you do it if not go in our menu and push botton untill you see descaling finish or done thanks pierre p.s taking about descaling my machine vienna told me this morning time to descale it comme about every 3 months let me now i know those machine good

Water hissing at back of brew unit after coffee made


Hi,

I think you have to replace the steam valve.

Have you descale your machine regulary?
How old is your machine?

Maybe your boiler have to be replaced:-(

Do you get coffee? If it is just no water/steam, could be a blockge in the steam wand, or blockage in water lines. First test easy one - the steam wand. If the steam wand is o.k- then check for blockages in water lines/components ( pump, boiler, steam boiler). The machine appears to be blocked due to limestone formation in water piping. Suggestion is decalcify following instructions of manufacturer .
