Gigabyte doesn't list 3 long beeps as an error code, so I'm not sure if you're actually getting 3 short beeps or maybe 1 long and 2 short or... But, for reference, Gigabyte's error code list is as follows (depending on whether you have an AWARD BIOS or an AMI):

(AWARD BIOS)
1 short beep: System normal
2 short beep: CMOS Error
1 long beep and 1 short beep: Memory error
1 long beep and 2 short beep: Graphic card error
1 long beep and 3 short beep: AGP error
1 long beep and 9 short beep: Memory Error
Continuous long beep: Memory not correctly installed
Continuous short beep: Power supply unit failed

(AMI BIOS)
1 short beep: Memory Error
2 short beep: Memory parity check error.
3 short beep: Basic memory 64K address check error
4 short beep: Real Time Clock malfunction .
5 short beep: CPU error
6 short beep: Keyboard error
7 short beep: CPU interruption error
8 short beep: Graphic card error
9 short beep: Memory error
10 short beep: CMOS error
11 short beep: CPU cache memory malfunction

It might not be a lot of help, but it's somewhere to start... and at least this way you'll know what to be listening for.

How can I log on when dell laptop only beeps

The beeps may be a code unless it's only one.
Depending on age or power source, it may not be able to provide multiple beeps before dying.

Back Up your data!, if you can...and follow this intruction.

1. Power your Ps3 down

The PS3 was turned off without logging off. Now it turns on but nothing shows on the screen.

switch on, then press on the power button again untill it switches off, then press on again untill it beeps twice, let go on the second beep and you should have acces to the service menu, hopefully on screen you will see options and you can restore system from there.

When a UPS beeps and produce some sound and it is connected to power what can be problem and how can it be solved ?

SY8KRFSH (why is this number so bogus?)_ RARE
or means not sold in USA. or canada...
I can not look up UPS outside USA or N;America
and no country told
nor your towns , AC power voltage. ratings

2002 MADE, NEW.
symmetra 8kva n+1 (sy8krfsh)?
8000 WATTS, MEDIUM SIZED, COMMERCIAL GRADE NOT FOR HOME USE.

the manual covers this.
it shows all error codes possible and causes
simple to harder.

the beep is even normal
at loss of utility power. 100% normal
unless turned off by you. it is a feature
other beeps mean hardware errors, battery bad tops that list.
and lots more.
this old UPS has 4 LED status and LCD display to see errors
the manual covers the, im reading it now at APC. dot com.

read page 59

see log view in LCD look there.
read the errors there.
the right far LED is marked FAULT if glows that means see logs
or run diagnostics from the LCD menu.
but find the right manual first.

or call APC on the phone
or call for service from them
or find a local UPS tech and ask for support.

answered all 4 ways.

Dell power edge 2850 make 4 seconds beeps alarm without stopping and without show any error Msg on the screen.

I don't understand the beep code you describe, but the 2850 has many beep codes to help understand what is going on.

First ... Identify the beep. Does the beep start as soon as you power it on, or after several seconds? What is the pattern of the beep - is it a repeating set of beeps - 3 sets of beeps between 1 and 4 beeps ... like 1 beep-3 beeps-2 beeps, or 3 beeps, 3 beeps, 1 beep? Or is it a steady repeating beep - about once per second?

Second ... is the LCD panel on the server blue or orange? If orange, what is the error code(s) it is scrolling?

If it is a steady, once-per-second beep, it is probably your RAID controller. Does the system boot to Windows/OS ok? If so, use (or install) OpenManage Server Administrator (Managed Node from Dell's Support Site) to check the Hardware Logs and check the RAID array (under Storage/Virtual Disks). If it is not booting to the OS, then go into CTRL-M to see what the status of your array is.

My ps3 keeps logging me out and during play it freezes up, I also have a corrupted data file that it wont let me delete

1. Turn off Playstation 3. 2. Hold the power button down; the system will turn on and turn off once again. 3. Once the System has been shutdown, re-press you finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps 4. When you hear the 2 beeps take finger off power button. 5. You will be prompted to plug in your controller via USB and then hit the PS button 6. The Recovery menu will pop up. 7. Select "Restore File System" from the Recovery menu. 8. Agree to restoring the file system.

Beeping when i turn on and black screen

IT is either one of three things.
  1. keyboard missing; check it's plugged in.
  2. graphics card; check that it has not been dislodged and is seated properly.
  3. memory. Are the memory cards properly seated?

Laptop continuously beeps when I get to log in area

Unfortunately beeps have different codes for different motherboards and unless you know what make it is; you are probably better to e mail Toshiba technical for help as there are no references on their knowledge base. Although this may be a memory fault or a processor/heat problem.
