I know for a fact what the problem is for this. I experienced the same exact thing. I have a xo vision 334gt i love it soooooo much. Anyways you have to un hook the (Solid)ORANGE wire form the unit and the harness. Trust me i been working on mine for 3 hrs now and finally found out what the problem was. Remember un hook the Solid Orange Wire.

Locate the LIGHT + lead on your radio.
Do you best on finding the factory LIGHT + lead.
Use this old lead to trigger night lamination on your new radio.

If you can not find this lead then look for closest interior night lamination and tap into that positive lead.

Horn and brake lights

This happend when you put a new sterio? Now your horn and tail lights dont work. Well some models require and extra harness to make the after market sterio work, check in to that. Or a fuse, make you where the wire is and trace it to see if it goes to the radio

I have a toshiba qosmio f25-av205, when you start it up the screen showes for about 15 seconds then goes dark, can see the screen on external monitor. Can also see it very faint on screen at same time. ...

In my experience, if a back light goes out, it doesn't work at all. Since yours works for a short time before going dark, I'd say that it's your inverter that's faulty.

Screen Goes Blank

Ive seen this on other monitors. Look for a 1 and 2. Some monitors do NOT auto detect a signal, and this one might not. Look for a way to set the monitor from Digital input to VGA input. Try that and see.

Will not charge or switch on

Mine had the same problem, it turned out to be the PCB, which Vodafone replaced. The phone now works, but won't play mp3 except those originally on the memory card, and very tiny mp3 ringtones.

If your phone is not under warranty, i would think that it would be very expensive to replace the PCB, and probably not worth your while.

Power issues

It sounds like you are drawing to many amps and you need to go to a higher capacity altinator and a second battery would be a good idea as well. Start your car (do it at night makes it easier to tell) turn on your headlights without your stereo on look at head lights and see how bright they are then slowly turn stereo on and up if headlights dim you are drawing to many amps and need a higher capacity alt to charge and stop you from blowing them, and second battery with and isolator so you don't draw amps from the battery that starts your car.

Lighting problem JVC KD-LH2000

If your unit is a "flip face" design then I would suspect that the flat ribbon cable that goes between the flip face and the main board has lost at least one of the leads and that the cable needs to be replaced. Try for a replacement. Good luck.
