My NEW Blackberry 8310 won't charge! Red light flashes just once.

I just got my brand new Blackberry 8310 and i have NO idea how to use it. I was so excited to use it that i forgot to leave it charging fully and just went ahead and used it.
Then, when the battery was low, i plugged it in. and i left it for TWO DAYS! and the batterY NEVER fully charged! Then, i left the house and when i got back the blackberry wouldn't turn on, and a RED light would just flash.
I tried charging it but it didn't work, the red light would flash just once and then dissapear. it won't charge!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!! PLEASE! PLEASE! :'(

Put the phone on charge with the battery in open the back of the phone and pull the battery out (while its still on charge) wait till the red light goes off then put the battery back in

Get a message saying my USB is not sufficient enough to charge phone ???? It works on other computers just not the one I need it to work on.

When you try to plugin the device for charging the battery
you will see the screen poping up with a battery and a red line through it.
This is normal.

you would have to reload the OS back to the device from the blackberry desktop manager software (application loader) but basically your phone is fried.

My blackberry 8310 just shut off and won't come back on.
Take the batter out, leave it out for 5 minutres and do a hard reset to it. Once the batter is put back in it should first turn on with a red light and eventually boot up if you say the bvattery is fully charged

Brand new 8320 after his first night charging its not working
when you put the phone on the charger does it show a red light on the top of the phone?
if so your battery is dead, when the battery is charged the light turn green.
you may just have a bad battery. I would take it to where you got it and get another one or a new battery. also your charger could be not working
