If you look at the back of your computer is the lead going from the monitor to it at the bottom(a video add-in card) or the top of the unit(onbard GFX)?

When you turn it on do you get a POST or a Startup screen at all? If so do you know how to enter the BIOS and check if it has a graphics card or on-board GFX? If it's on-board you will have to get it checked by a pro as it could be the chipset or the GFX chip that has failed. The system boards are not cheap even to buy on eBay so it might not be economically viable to fix. If you're confident enough the only thing you can do is a trouble shooting session. First ground yourself by touching a radiator pipe or something that is earthed and without wrenching take out the RAM(push out the spring clips), clean the connector strips and blow out the slots. Replace and try to boot(its amazing how RAM can play havock with a system). If you have no joy with that you will need to take the video card out(if it has one) and do the same with that, be careful though, some GFX cards use the CPU heatsink as the cooling device and you will need new TIM(thermal interface material) for both. If still no joy take out the GFX card and revert to on-board graphics through the Bios if possible(most don't have on-board GFX). If you still can't get it to work then then that's about all you can do yourself without help or spending money. You either need a friend that doesn't mind messing with his laptop so you can try your card in it or take it to a repair shop for testing.

I can't hook up my sony wireless headphones to my new tochiba tv

there is no headset jack on the Toshiba 46g300u. It is a bummer. If you add a sound system for $200 bucks or more, they usually come with a headset jack. I sure wish this tv came with a jack, I mean, how can it not?

I have accidently gone past the automatic tune function when 1st turning tv on . How do I manual tune?

I think you mean perform the channel scan function. Every tv manufacturer has different wording in the menu, but basically this is what you would do:
Press Menu, then go to Setup or Installation menu (wording depending upon mfg).
Select antenna or cable (wording could be air or cable)
Perform channel scan

Hope this helps as you didn't mention model.

On Screen Clock Display

Without the original remote or a universal remote that does not have a display button, try unplugging the television for at least 2 minutes and plug the tv back in. This should reset the tv display. If the universal remote has a display button, depress the display button until you get the desired display results.

Cant turn off panasonic PIP

To turn off the "stuck" pip on a Panasonic tv without a remote, turn off the tv. Then hold down the "Action" button on the front of the tv and press the power button. This will activate a reset and self check of the systems and voila! The pesky pip screen will be gone! This is on an approximately 10 year old regular crt "CT-xxxxx" series tv.

Locked out TV Screen by accident

If you forgot your password for this feature, press the following buttons on the remote, one at a time. (Note: You must be in the password entry screen) Press, Mute, Display,Clear and Reset, this unlocks parental controls and you can now re-enter a new password.
OR TRY THIS..
Press and hold Menu on the TV AND volume down on the remote for 3 seconds. Nothing will appear on the screen, and the Parental Controls will unlock, and you can re-enter a new password with the LOCK PARENTAL CONTROLS

Display 'video 1' stays on all the time

There is a "Display" button on your Sony remote that turns the display ( Video 1,2,3 etc) off and on , you probably hit it by accident like I did.
