SIM card? does the sch-u740 have a sim card you can take out and if so where is it and what does it look like?

i have this prolem too. i use a condemn battery, when the battery is full, network ok but when the battery started to less and little, limited service... i think you should replace the battery..

You'll need a SIM card and Verizon cell service. If you're not using Verizon, you'll need to get the phone unlocked from the Verizon service so it can be used on your provider's cell service. Your provider should be able to help you with this.

Unfortunately, you cannot. Verizon phones have integrated SIM cards that you cannot take out. You cant unlock a verizon phone.

ok one last shot i can think of is if you take the back cover off remove the battery and the sim card. if there is a reset button it should be there. that is all i can think of. one other thing is did she maybe hit the keypad lock by accident?

Again, if you were familiar with cell phone technologies you would know that CDMA phones do not use SIM cards. Only GSM phones do. CMDA carriers like Verizon, Sprint and Alltel will never have SIM cards in their phones. The contacts are stored directly to the phone and in the case of Verizon, you have Backup Assistant which sends your contacts to a safe place.

 

Carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile are the only carriers that use SIM cards since they are GSM companies.
