Question about Nokia 5220 XpressMusic Cellular Phone
It depends on how badly water damaged the phone is... Nokia dont repair handsets they think are water damaged at all, so they probably just looked at it and didnt even try...
Try taking it to an independant store that offers Phone Repairs, they shouldnt charge you unless they are able to repair the problem.
The biggest issue with water damage though is you could repair the phone, think its working and then find that something else isnt working, like it doesnt ring, etc...
If you want to do it yourself, you should be able to get a dissassembly guide and the relevant tools online, however it is a fidly phone and you could end up damaging other components.
