HTC Dash S620: My screen had to be replaced after it was broken,so i bought a replacement, but it doesnt work either,it shows a scrambled display of colors. How to fix.

If you fix it alone and bought a replacement likewise,it's better bring the phone to the supplier were you get the LCD and from their, test several LCD to make sure you've got same result.might the first screen you bought is effective so better try another one or others.

If the phone got the same problem of scramble display after testing several screen as well, check the LCD board connector terminal, see through it if there's a matter of deform or much as possible, cleaning and realigning the specific area could help.

And lastly,If nothing happens and still the problem occur, you should bring the phone to a mobile service center for checking the unexpected problem on display.

LG 8300 phone the display screen is distorted / scrambled

The problem with your phone is that the flex on your phone screen is malfunctioning, that is why the screen is distorted.

All you will need to do is to change the flex on your phone screen because it is now faulty.

Change the flex of your phone screen as advice and you will see that your phone screen will be back to normal.

Take care.

What is "Voice Privacy" mode under Call Settings?

it's an encryption feature that "scrambles" (for lack of a better word), your phone conversation "more" (once again, for lack of a better work), providing more security from people trying to tap into you calls and decode them. (which I always thought was next to impossible on a spread spectrum transmission....)
