Using the original remote, you can select your input source(s). The "PIP"is not listed as such, but rather as a a video/line/tuner 1/tuner 2, etc. You will have the option of placing or selecting the respective source as primary, secondary, or off. I hope this helps...accordianman

You have to have the original remote to turn on or shut off the PIP.

Some remotes allow PIP to be turned on and off but your initial set up routine may have to be revisited to prevent PIP from popping up uninvited.

HOW DO YOU TURN OFF PIP ON HP LC3260N

Hello, it's not PiP that's on , it[s a closed caption issue. the CC is in the text mode and is an easy fix. just press the CC button on the remote (it's located above the 1 button) till it says off on the tv screen, or if you use closed caption select CC1. this should take care of your problem......thanks, Terry

My tv is a sony xbr. somehow we got ourselves a black box (small) in the lower right hand corner. The remote doesn't have pip and we never used the pip. but i cannot get rid of this box. i tried to reset...

A solution I found for our KV-32XBR200 was to press Setup on top of the set, then select the "Demo" item with TV/Video. The text overlay apparently banished PIP. Verified this twice, as I'm at this page because our remote can only turn PIP on :-).

We have a Sharp Aquos TV with an annoying black box in the upper left hand corner of the screen. How do we get rid of it?

You may have PIP or picture in picture turned on and set to a input that has nothing connected to it. That's why the box is black. There should be a button on the remote for PIP. Try to turn it off. Or turnit off in the menu.

How to work viewsonic remote

Hi red recruite,
I am happy to help.
The blue box is the Picture in Picture function. Press the PIP button on remote till gone.
The No Entry Sign on the inputs is because nothing is connected to these inputs.
Unless  I an mistaken you have only a HDMI cable connected.
Let me know if I got it right and please rate this solution. Please keep in mind that Thanks For Trying rateing is negative.

Help

Greetings Giselleriver,

Since you have the CT9951, I can only assume you have a CF27H50, CF32H50, or CF36H50 TV. You just need to make sure you have your video sources (i.e. VCR/DVD/Cable Box) connected to Video 1 or Video 2.

Once you have your video sources connected if you press the PIP button you should have a small screen that appears in the upper right hand corner, if you press it again it should grow slightly. To change whats in the window you should be able to press the SOURCE button, and if you want to exchange what your watching on the main screen the SWAP button should exchange the images.

If your not use one of the listed TV's and your unit doesn't come with the PIP feature, you can't install a PIP feature.

Happy Channel Surfing.
