Question about Nokia N810 Smartphone

Bluetooth connection fails when using HSDPA on the phone.

I am trying to use hsdpa modem on my phone via bluetooth from N810. But, it keeps showing connection failed message. I have Samsung sch-w460 3G phone wiht HSDPA capability. The pairing was successful. When I tried to connect, it fails.

What OS does the sch-w460 run? I tried googling it and there isn't much information about it. Do you have Diablo on your n810? Diablo has an issue w/ PAN used by new windows mobile phones (as opposed to the DUN setup used on older phones).

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Two methods are there to use your phone as modem

Make sure you have bluetooth on on both, and that you are connected via bluetooth to your computer.

Turn on pda net on your DI and enable bluetooth dun.

Now go to your bluetooth settings on your computer and double click on your device, a new service should pop up allowing you to enable dun/modem and select that.

right click on your di bluetooth connection on your computer and create a dial up modem.

select the generic bluetooth modem, not the pdanet modem.

Type 123 in the phone number and leave the username and password blank and click connect.

Now you can right click on your DI bluetooth icon on your computer and select connect to the modem connection you just created.

After using my DI as a modem over bluetooth there are a few things to consider.

1. yeah it works great.

2. Its a battery **** fest.

Constant 3g with constant bluetooth = constant battery draw.

I would still recommend using your pdanet via the usb cable, seeing as this will keep the battery level charged, as well as same speed!

Can i use Samsung omnia i900 windows phone as a modem to connect to intenet?

1. install the Samsung Omnia modem driver on your Windows PC - can be found @http://www.samsungmobile.com/promotion/omnia/fr/sub02_xp.jsp
2. if you have installed Active Sync on your Windows PC then make sure that before you connect your mobile device to PC you disable "Allow USB connections" from the Active SyncOption menu
3. after you connect Samsung Omnia to PC, on your mobile device go to START->PROGRAMS->INTERNET SHARING and select the connection type (bluetooth or USB - most commonly used would be USB); tap "Connect". Your Samsung Omnia will connect to the mobile network if you have set up a profile for GPRS/HSDPA according to your billing plan provided by the network operator.

What does two arrows making up a circle mean on myboyfriends Sony phone

Hi,

This usually happens when the phone is plugged in to a PC or Laptop, the symbol means the phone is trying to syncronize data between your phone and pc, this might also happen when bluetooth is on or your phone is checking for email via wifi or HSDPA.

Hope this helps.

Can you use a sim card motorola backflip

Yes, it does. The Backflip is a GSM/GPRS/EDGEWCDMA/HSDPA phone, and, as such, requires a SIM (or USIM) card to work. For further details, check its specs here.

I am trying to connect via bluetooth my phone ericsson w880i with my nokia n810 internet tablet but it keeps on saying connection failed could you explain how i could make this work.

Make sure both have bluetooth enabled, I suspect that the n810 may require a nokia phone for the phone features. The device didn't register my qtek phone at all.
