I was cleaning the Transfer sep unit and when I put it back in, then it started giving me this code C 0210 on the 2nd copy. which shows as the HVT I switched it with a similar transfer unit that I know was working ( I have 2 Di 450) but gave me the same error, when I put the transfer unit back in the one that was working, it gave me the same code as the other copier C 0210 always on the 2nd copy. But, I know for a fact that it WAS WORKING. I did not do anything to the 2nd transfer unit but try it in the other machine, and on that one all I did was clean it. I find it hard to beleive both HVT units have gone bad " all of a sudden".

Re: error c 0210 minolta di 450
You mite have a problem with XFER/SEP HV Connection in the first Di450. Also the Housing's on both end of the XFER/SEP assy may need replace ment that would be the two white assy at each end of the XFER/SEP assy. There breaking down due to HV. Also have you replaced the two corna wires in each unit their very fine gold plated wires very thin. They mite have broke or have toner over them clean with alcohol be careful they are very fine wires.

Secondary transfer roller pressure welding alienation
• The pressure welding alienation sensor doesn't turn OFF (retracting) even after the lapse of a given period of time after the 2nd image transfer pressure retraction motor has started rotating during the 2nd image transfer roller is retracting. • The pressure welding alienation sensor doesn't turn ON (pressuring) even after the lapse of a given period of time after the 2nd image transfer pressure retraction motor has started rotating during the 2nd image transfer roller is pressuring
Directly below the drum section is assemble called the transfer/separation assy. the purpose of this unit is two fold. (It houses to very thin gold plated wires) One wire is what helps the transfer of the image from the drum to the paper. Since the paper goes between this wire and the drum, the second wire prevent the paper from sticking to the drum during the transfer process. The code you have been getting means either wire mite be broke, has to cleaned (because of all the toner on it from the drum assy. which need to removed and cleaned. Or The end blocks that hold the wires are getting old and allowing the High Voltage that is applied to the wire during the copy/print process are breaking down allowing the high voltage to ground. Open close the front door to clear. if it comes back have qualified tech look at it.
Right below the drum section is an assemble that has two very fine wires in it. The assemble comes out by pulling it out. have the machine off. When you pull it out you will see to blocks one at each end well those blocks (White Looking) house the connectors for those very thin wires. Several thousand volts travel thru those connectors to the wires to do two things one wire helps transfer the image on to the paper because during the copy/print process the paper goes between both wire and the drum, the second wire prevent the paper from sticking to the drum. After a while with those high voltages going thru those blocks they breakdown and the voltages goes to ground vise the wires causing the machine to issue that code. Might find the those blocks or the whole assy at. the web site below. Open close front door to reset code. Precision Roller Printer Toner Cartridges Parts and Supplies Office...
