I've a Swiss grill with rotisserie burner (infra-red) & it keeps blowing itself out, it stays lit for 5mins then suddenly flames pop out & it goes out, it still sounds as if gas is coming out though.

Almost certainly yes. The infrared grills work by gas and air coming through the surface under pressure. The crack would cause lower pressure and flameout. Does it flame at this area?

Beyond the nozzle (towards the burner) that you cleared is an area called the venturi, this is where the gas is mixed with air before it hits the burner. check that for blockages.

Frigidaire freezer 253.28452801 is running all the time

clean out grills under unit or in back of it . they sell a brush at any hardware store , when the grill gets dirty or clogged it cant breath. it over heats and stays running . also check the door seal .it has to seat for cold air to stay in if it doesnt seat take a blow dryer heat it up a little and readjust it so it does.

I have a stainless steel Ducane BBQ with five burners plus side burner and a rottisserie burner , which does not work. It is approx 5 years old and I have never used the rottisserie till last week. I have...

Since you've never used it. It may simply be a case that the infrared rotisserie burner is dirty and clogged with grease from cooking on the main burners. In addition, the Thermocouple and the igniter for that burner may also have a grease build up. In which case it won't allow the burner to light.

The electronic igniter that lights the main burners, also ignites the the rotisserie burner. Are you geting the click noise on the main burner igniters? If not, the battery in the igniter button needs to be replaced. Be sure to take note of the way the old battery is facing, when you unscrew the igniter cap. Because, that's the way the new battery should face.

Also, try match lighting the rotisserie burner. To do this, turn the Rotisserie Burner's Control Knob to the ON position and push it in, as you touch the lit match to the burner. If the burner lights continue to hold the burner knob in for a couple of minutes. This allows the Thermocouple and the ceramic plaques to heat up completely. Then slowly release the burner knob and the burner should remain lit.

If it doesn't stay lit, clean the burner and the Thermocouple ,in the manner that is described in your Owner's Manual.

Hope this helps you troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know and Happy Grilling!!

We have a Big Easy oil-less turkey frier & it won't stay lit. It's 37 degrees out. Would that be an issue? When valves are open, can't hear gas coming through. We've only used the propane tank one...

Yes, the outdoor temperature and any wind could play a role in it. Check to be sure that there's enough gas in the tank, to sustain the burner flames. These cookers use a lot of gas. Also, check the air intake shutter valve (where the tank hose connects to the burner). It may need adjusting to get the proper mixture of gas to air ratio. Consult your Owners Manual for the proper setting.

Hope that helps. Please let me know.

Grill ignites but will not stay lit

Check for contamination or grease in the burner holes. Also gas pressure could have gone out of adjustment.

Coals dieing out

It sounds like you have a partial block to the fresh air supply on the side that is dying out on you. The cause is generally built up grease residue, or coals blocking the air flow. Look carefully, readjust things and you should be all set. Regards, Joe

Cant get the burners to stay lite.

Spiders like to create little hidey webs in the tubes of propane grills and stoves.

Take it apart as much as you can and blow compressed air through all of the holes and apertures. You can either take it to the gas station and us the $.25 air machine or buy a can of compressed air at your computer store.
