I do not understand your response. Please clarify.

  • adam_a_watso May 09, 2009

Yes - the 'knob' is easy to find - it is on the front. It does not do anything except change the microwave timers (how long things cook for). It does not seem to do anything regarding the time (clock).

    THanks

Thanks mate - I'd be grateful!!

If your micowave cant cook or heat anything like a cup of water, then you may have a problem with the electrical and electronic components not working properly.there might be a busted fuse inside . try to check and replace if necessary.then close it back. if nothing happens still not working maybe a timer trouble the thing with the knob where you adjust the time to cook. hope this help

I can understand your delima, the users manual does not have any information for setting the clock. I will have to do some more research and possibly contact Smeg and get back to you for the proper settings. Thank you

Try looking for the a know. This knob acts as a timer. It is similar to those of the washing machine.

What i meant was, try looking for a knob. This knob acts same as a that of a knob of a washing machine timer. Do you get it now?

Hi,

Normally it's
Clock > time numbers > Clock
or
Clock > time numbers > Start

Sometimes it's
Clock > (1 or 2) > time numbers > Clock
or
Clock > (1 or 2) > time numbers > Start

If that would not work, let me know so that i can research further to solve it.

Thanks for using Fixya.

Do rate the solution as "Fixya" if 100% satisfied.

    Hi,

    I checked specially your model.

I am sorry to inform you that there is no "Clock Option" on your oven :(.Its available on most of the smeg's model. Whenever a clock option is there, there would be a push button for the same.

As you might have read the instruction's manual as well as checked their website, you would find that there is no clock option. You can set timer for all items, However clock option is not there.I am sorry to be a bearer of bad news, But that's the fact and i hope that you would be able to accept gracefully.

You would see all options from setting beverage to muffin but 'No Clock option'.

I hope you would have got the precise answer.

    Thanks for using Fixya.

Do close the thread by selecting "Fixya" if 100% satisfied with solution.

There is only one way. Unplug the cord. Wait for few minutes and hen plug in the cord. When the oven would start, it would allow you to select the time.

That's the only trick for your model, if that work.Unless Reset and then when you start you might get an option for reset clock.

    Thanks.

I have lost my instruction book for my Smeg microwave/oven which I have had approx three years. Nothing wrong with the appliance but I would like to change the clock and can't remember how to set the time...

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers, for spare parts and service, and Installation Instructions as required.

I hope this helps.

Sanyo microwave clock reset

This is the generic instructions to set the clock. I have visited the sanyo site to aquire a owners manual with no success in locating one. This being said, here are the instructions.

  1. Unplug the unit for a minute then plug unit in.
  2. Press the clock (clock/timer) button once.
  3. Using the keypad, input the time you wish to set.
  4. Press the clock (clock/timer) button once.
  5. Press the stop/clear button, Time should remain.
Hope this works, if not, let me know.

Please take the time to give this solution a fix ya rating.

Toshiba micriwave time setting

These manuals are no longer available, but maybe one of these key combinations will work:

CLOCK > 1 > 2 > 3 > CLOCK

CLOCK > 1 > 2 > 3 > START

CLOCK > CLEAR > 1 > 2 > 3 > CLOCK

CLOCK > CLEAR > 1 > 2 > 3 > START

Please let us know how it goes.
