SOURCE: Honeywell Ademco alarm panel beeped

Find the metal box (usually beige) housing the control panel and open it. The system backup battery is inside. Take it to Battery Warehouse or similar store and buy a new one to replace it.

While you're inside the control box, read the model number of your control panel. That can be useful for future questions.

The volume on our vista 20p honeywell key pad is to low and we tried turning the volume up and we still can't hear the voice annoucements because we have a big house. what can we do to make it louder.

Nothing but replace it. Something to check is open it up with the tabs be very carefull not to break them some have a small screw on the bottom. Once you have it open then try it and see if it is louder. I have found tape and plastic on some of them over the years. Try this and see if it works.

Honeywell Ademco alarm panel reads Chime BAT 11

The answer above is incorrect. If the back up battery was low it says, "bat" on the screen and that's it. Since the "11" is being displayed, zone #11 on your wireless system as a low battery.

Chime will not stop - says low battery but new one installed. Do not have monitoring service and do not know original master codes

if you power cycle the system then hold * and # after powering up that is a back door into programming hit #20 it will then display the installer code write that down then hit *99 to get out of programming
then do the command
installer code+8+02+new master code+new master code
to test batt do the command installer code+5+0 to test the batt or let t set and charge for 24 hrs

power cycle the system then hold star and pound that is a back door into programming hit #20 that will tell you the installer code then hit *99
once you have the installer code hit (Installer Code + 5 + 0) if you want to change the master code hit installer code + 8+02+new code + new code to create a new code

2007 Saturn Aura XE, the audible alarms can hardly be heard

Good news - they're adjustable. The radio is used to adjust the vehicle's chime level. To change the volume level of the chime, press and hold push-button 6 with the ignition on and the radio power off. The volume level will change from the normal level to loud, and LOUD will appear on the radio display. To change back to the default or normal setting, press and hold push-button 6 again. The volume level will change from the loud level to normal, and NORMAL will appear on the radio display.

Note: Each time the chime volume is changed, three chimes will sound to indicate the new volume selected.
