Mic In to pin 1; Gnd to pins 2 and 3; R Out to pin 5; Ret R to pin 6; L Out to pin 9, and Ret L to pin 10. Remove the jumpers on pins on the motherboard before placing thses wires.

Connection of audio leads

Here is the link to the Gigabyte site to your specific motherboard. The only place that will have those pin locations is the user manual. Not all motherboards support all chassis designs and at times modification of the connectors is required in order to get the connections. Check the User manual for the actual pin outs.

I HAVE A NEW CASE, & NEED TO CONNECT THE FRONT UBB & AUDIO LEADS. CAN YOU HELP, CHEERS

Hi there, first check the image below. You've got USB 3 and 4, and AUDIO section. For the USB, pins 1 and 2 represent front panel USB power on both 3 and 4. As for AUDIO connection, pin 1 is Front Panel Microphone input signal, pin 3 is Microphone Power, pins 5 and 6 are for Right Channel audio signal to Front Panel and pins 9 and 10 are for Left Channel audio signal to Front Panel.

You can find more details in the motherboard's manual, page 23 and 24.

Hi i have hp d530 cmt DC755AV motherboard. i am facing problem with the audio. i want to know that is it necessary to connect the "speaker" leads of the casing with the motherboard for speakers to work....

While many HP boards have audio built in, on some the connections are on the motherboard itself. I own one myself & found it much easier to buy a $7.00 sound card from eBay, that included shipping to my front door.
