One set is for the subwoofer itself and the other is for the tweeters or the voice coil you will see this a lot in car audio just find which ones which and dont put a lot of power to tweeter/voice coil

SOURCE: Dell MMS 5650

you will never find a schematic for any dell part.
you can be the first to make one though.

if you know electronics then the circuit for that is one of the easiest.
having a schematic will not help you fix it.

since your looking at an item that sells for 30 to 70.00 any part in there you order will max that.

I find a signal tracer to be invaluable in troubleshooting these.

SOURCE: Dell MMS 5650 speaker Volume control

Since it has been working perfectly, you need you change the control knob, there may be a pershal contact that is preventing it from controlling the volume.

SOURCE: 2 Dell 5650 have no sound

the surround sound speakers plug into the rear of the computer with three plugs. an adapter comes with it to plug those three into one green plug. if you plug that green plug in, the rear and center speakers should work, although i don't know if the surround sound will work correctly but you should get sound

SOURCE: Rear Speaker delay

It will not be the length of the wires, as the signal travels at close to the speed of light!

If the connections to the speakers are bare wires the cause is probably that you have wired the speakers with opposing polarity. Check the wiring and ensure that positive (red) is wired to positive on the speakers.

The speaker cable should be marked in some way to indicate which core is which. It doesn't matter which core you use provided that you wire red to red and black to black, or whatever other colours your output and input have.

well you might want to see what the output on your computers sound card is if it is to high that would explain it or if you have the base set to high that would also make the fuse blow on it

you will never find a schematic for a dell.

you can purchase this whole unit for the price of those ic's
the going rate is 30 to 70.00
I fix these only if they have frayed wire, otherwise junk pile.
sad but its the times we live in.
