I have a sears kenmore oven model 911.95576790 and the oven fails to heat. The cleaning cycle works and the broiler works

The broiler heat coil is where the oven gets it's heat. Since that works the only thing left is the selector switch and/or the thermostat

Oven keeps blowing thermal fuse

  • Disconnect the oven's power supply by turning off the breaker in your home's service panel.
  • 2 Open the lower oven door. Remove the screw at the bottom of the trip panel on each side of the oven.
  • 3 Pull the trim away from the oven approximately 2 inches, then slide the trim panel down to remove it from the oven.
  • 4 Remove the screws from the bottom sides of the control panel.
  • 5 Pull the control panel out from the bottom, then lift the panel to remove it from the front of the oven.
  • 6 Detach the wire connectors from the control panel by depressing the tab on each connector and removing it from the control panel.
  • 7 Depress the tabs on the thermal fuse wire connectors, then remove the thermal fuse.
  • 8 Attach the wire connectors to the new thermal fuse to install it in the control panel.
  • 9 Reassemble the oven by reversing the steps used to take it apart.
  • 10 Restore power to the oven.

Installing oven door on kenmore electric stove

Can you put the door back on? If so, push the door closed instead of lifting it. I will look into this problem further.

How do i change the baking element in my kenmore oven?

yes make sure the power to your stove is shut off at the breakerbox, the use a screw driver to unscrew one small screw form each end of your element, save the screw. Put the new element in the same way you removed the old one using the original screws. Turn the breaker back on then turn on your oven , the new element should become red quickly .

Oven just beeps when i turn it on

Hit stop clear then reprogram oven If that won't work unplug for a short time plug back in and see if this works. It found a fault code in the oven control and if you can't reset it. You will have to order a new one. Go to managemylife.com if you need to download manual
