Question about Lexmark Z705 Inkjet Printer
Attempting to print pages from email, printed section starts about 4in from the left and cuts off the information when it gets to the right side of the page.
Try uninstalling the printer completely and if you have a current install disc compatible with your operating system then re-install with that. It may prove better if you go to the manufacturer's website, click on support and follow directions that will be there to identify your printer and download and install the latest drivers. When installing disconnect the USB lead until the program asks you to plug it in. God luck.

You may try to change the spool data format:
1. Click on "Start," "Control Panel," "Printers and Other Hardware" and "Printers and Faxes."
("Start," "Control Panel," "Hardware and Sound" and "Printers" for Vista...)
2. Then, right click on the Lexmark printer icon and left click "Properties."
3. Either on the "Advanced" tab or the "General" tab for some models, there is a "Print Processor" button, left click it.
4. This is the spool format setting. Under "Print processor" it should be set to "Lexmark *** series print processor." Next, under "Default datatype," select "NT EMF 1.008."
5. Click "OK" and exit back out to your desktop.
6. Try printing again.

This sounds like the photoconductor units for both black and blue need to e replaced. Open the front of the printer like you are changing toner cartridges. On the front door parts that opens to you there will e four pieces, 1 for each color. Look at the one with blue on it and the one with black and look on the ends of these, they are the photoconductor units. I bet both of the colors have worn sections compared tothe magenta and yellow ones. The replacement part number is C53030X and you will need 2 of these. They have a life span just like toner and have to be replaced too.
I hope this helps,

this sounds like you have a fuser problem look at the fuser and see if it has toner build up on the rollers ghost printing can be caused by the toner cartridge or the fuser. this would indicate that your fuser isnt maintaining enough heat for complete fusing. is you take the rear covers off and run your print job. look to the far left side of the fuser and you will see the heat lamp lit up. this light should cycle on every 1 1/2 pages or so. any longer than that and it wont keep up with the print job
