I can't install the audio card I downloaded from my manufacturer
Hi, I've a Hasee WS251 laptop. Recently i formatted the OS and then I reinstalled it. I also installed all the drivers from the CD that came with the laptop. Except the sound driver all worked. I then tried downloading from the manufacturer's website and yet nothing- 'Installation Failure'. What can i do about it?

If you recently formatted your computer and reinstalled the OS, you will need to go to the maunfactures support website and download drivers for all devices. For instance, if it is a Dell you can go to their support website and enter the model laptop you have and it will show drivers for all installed equipment; sound, video, networking, webcam, etc. Also if you do your windows updates alot of times it will include missing drivers.
If you have formatted the hard-Drive you,ve deleted all information from the computer.
your only other option, is to install an operating system ( Windows/Linux ) and check the device manager, to see which drivers need to be downloaded/updated. With Laptops it,s usually VGA ( graphics ) Sound And sometimes LAN/Network drivers.
a recovery cd will have all of this information, and reinstall your original operating system, including authentic product key. so sometimes worth the money.
Hi I am Vortash first thing you need to do is identify what sound card you have built in to your lap top . Go to the manufactures site and go to support down loads and get a new sound driver from there and install it .. then rebboot the system and you should be ok or go to http://www.driverdetective.com and download your chipset and other drivers from there , note this is not a free service and you will have to pay for their service regards Vortash
