1. the very tip of my headphones popped off in the headphone jack and the rest of the headphones stayed intact. How do I get it out?
2. when I get it out, how can I fix the headphones?

The easiest way to get it out would be to use a couple of long sewing needles and put them in the jack on either side applying a little pressure (Not to much or you'll have broken needles in there too1) like chopsticks try and pull it out. Make sure you do this with the power off. If you want to salvage the headphones the connector will need replacing, they can be bought at most electronic stores. It's a 3.5mm headphone jack that your after. They can give you instructions for fitting at the shop, it varies depending on the connector.
