They want you to buy a new computer. Are you surprised? After you buy the new computer, you will need new utilities.

Hi bill, thanks for your answer about champ bass on windows 7, i tried it but still no success

If your Championship Bass program is an older model, you might want to explore changing that setting (that Bill suggested) to an older operating system compatibility, like clicking on Windows XP or even Windows 98SE.
Many older games are not compatible on Windows 7, 8 and most certainly not on 10, so if this still doesn't work, you might need to be buying a newer edition of the game.

Driver windows 8

All drivers for Windows 8 are available on the Microsoft website. Since Windows 7 all drivers need certification, from Microsoft and then you can download them there. All other drivers offered via other sites, could still work fine on older operating systems, but not on Windows 7 or 8.x. So older hardware can't be installed, unless you get certified drivers form Microsoft.

Why Beach Head 2000 & 2002 is not working correctly in windows 8

Old games sometimes doesn't work properly on modern systems. Try right clicking the shortcut and mingle with compatibility settings. If you really want to play old games, try getting virtual machine with older system or buy an old computer.

My Pioneer DVR-110DBK says it isnt comrpatible with my computer. I tried it on my desktop (Windows 7) Does it suppose to work with windows 7 and 8 ? The only thing I can get to work is the burner. I would...

If it worked in an older OS like Win XP but doesn't work in Win 7 & 8 then it may need a firmware update in order to work in those OS's. Check the manufacturers website to see if firmware update is available.

Can a Windows 95 version of Hellbender Program Work on Windows 7

Should be able to get it to work in compatibility mode (right click the shortcut and click settings > compatibility)
Some older games do not recognise modern hardware though so it may say you don't have enough ram etc.

Voyetra midi orchestrator

The only Voyetra Midi Orchestra Plus software I can know was written for Windows 3.1 and Windows 95. Thus there are several reasons for it to be incompatible with Windows 8. First, it was a 16-bit software; the most common Windows 8 installs use a 64-bit OS. This means that the OS has undergone a number of major changes. The installers are completely different (format/way of talking to the OS). The DLLs that communicate between the software and the OS have also changed. The drivers for MIDI devices will be totally different in the modern OS.

The documentation for Voyetra Midi Orchestra is available here: http://www.turtlebeach.com/support/files/241/ . It is a discontinued product and no one at the company that owns it will be writing a new version of the code for Windows 8. I'm not sure this software will work in Windows 7 32-bit. You might be able to use the software in a compatibility mode from a virtual version of XP. For Windows 7 Pro, Virtual PC and the XP mode package are available as free downloads and can be used if your hardware allows. Windows 8 Pro has Hyper-V but requires a licensed version of any Windows OS that you want to use. For non-pro versions of Windows software, you would need to buy a Pro upgrade. The alternative is to obtain another Virtual machine software (VMWare, for example) and a licensed copy of XP or an older version of Windows. (OEM Windows 7 Pro licenses are still available from many computer hardware vendors.)

I hope this helps.

(Many 32-bit device drivers don't work under Windows 8; older software that didn't run under Windows 7 have similar problems.)

Broderbund print shop signature greetings older program won't install on my windows 8 pc

It will not install. That is why I kept my old xp computer. Some older programs will not run on Windows 8 and newer as they use apps to run the program. You can see of printshop has an app. As for installing the program using the cd...forget it.

Dawn of war soulstorm wont start on windows 8

It has nothing to do with the legality of Windows. Nor does it have anything to do with the age of your computer. Soulstorm did work on my computer with windows 8. Right up until there was a windows update. Now it complains about compatability.

Interesting to note that Dark crusade and Dawn of war itself still runs without a problem. I have tried to resolve the issue by reinstalling soulstorm and changing the modes of the computer (you are supposed to be able to get your computer to run older games). Nothing has worked so far.
