Dryer not generating heat and drying clothes...

I have the electric dryer... dryer is not generating any heat. The setting is set to either heavy or casual. Checked circuit breakers - all fine Checked lint tray - clean Checked for air vent output - good flow of air but cool air. Thoughts?

Is it new?  If not, how old is it?  Could it be set on "fluff".  Most dryers have this mode to just move the clothes around without any heat.

Have you tried all the different settings like "normal", "pern press", to rule out any issues with the timer?  If you use one setting a lot, the timer contacts in that area may have become worn out.  Try a different setting to see if you get heat.  If you get heat with a different setting, then you timer needs replacing.  If you still don't get heat, probably a bad heating element or loose wire.

My duet whirpool electric dryer keeps stoping before my clothes are dry

Make sure you are not using a timed drying setting. Use one of the pre programmed functions on the dial. These settings are meant to use a sensor and stop when the clothes are dry. If the problem continues on one of these settings, there is likely a problem with the sensor or your heating element

I would recommend calling a technician. Could be as you said a bad sensor. Make sure the sensor bars are clean. Use an alcohol pad or cloth and clean them.

Why isn't My Kenmore Heavy Duty 70 Series Soft Heat Extra Capacity Electric Dryer drying clothes on any one cycle?

One possibility: Air flow! Make sure that the lint trap is cleaned before each cycle. You likely need to thoroughly clean out the vent piping out the back of the machine- a buildup of lint in here can also restrict airflow.

Dryer only heats on the highest heat setting

Some electric dryers have two heating elements. You probably have one bad heater and one good heater.

Dryer is heating, but stops before clothes are dry. could this be a sensor issue?

Timer might not be calibrated correctly. Could be the amount of clothes and how heavy they are (e.g. blue jeans?). Give the clothes more time to dry

More dry/less dry setting on atlantis dryer

The more dry less dry settings are basically how much heat you want to use. This is the sensor drying. There is a moister sensor in the dryer that senses the moister on the clothing. When it senses no more moister it will shut off and tell you your clothes are done. The trick with this is that you want to make sure you don't mix your heavy clothing with your light stuff. A t-shirt will dry much faster then jeans and it will sense that the shirt is dry and shut off. I put mine on about the second or third line on the more dry setting and my clothes come out fine. If you are mixing your clothing just put it around the third line. It all really depends on what is being dried. If it's heavy set it for more, if it's socks and such set it lower. Let me know if you have any other questions and let me know if this was helpful for you. Good luck.

Not getting any heat @ all in dryer.

Folks,
You aren't giving me much to work with to help you. If possible, can you provide the Brand and Model number of your dryers so that I can assist? I can't tell from your post if they are gas or electric and that would dictate the repair tactic for them.. Please provide those kinds of details.
Regards,
Rick

Extremely low drum heat but setting is on HIGH.

Electric (Kenmore - 60931) dryer takes forever (several cycles) lately to dry clothes set on high heat (actual heat in tub feels low though). There are no obstructions in the venting and the 240 volt connection is fine. The timer rotates the dial (timer motor working). Help!!!
