Wikipedia This article is about a genus of plant. (thousands of types) For bell peppers, see Bell pepper. For the hot varieties, see chili pepper
Is chili pepper what you meant? If so what country/state/province are you in? It may have bearing on how to answer.

Coating coming off inside bottom of microwave. Safe or not

not ideal but not unsafe to use unless it grows into a big hole and leaks radiation... if it's a public use microwave it'd be condemned... think about looking for a replacement, they're cheap enough now compared to what they used to cost.

leaving the door open for a few mins after cooking will disperse any residual moisture and prevent this from happening in your next microwave. (it'll also slow down the rot in your current oven)

Good luck.

My kenmore microwave decided to stop heating!! It's less than 1 year old whats the problem??

Any piece of gear with electronics it can have an early failure. It's possible that the fuse for the high voltage circuit has failed or even the magnetron or the diode that produces the DC for it has gone south. I have the ugly feeling that these don't have a year's warranty anymore but it would be worth checking. I'm growing tired of Chinese quality.

My GE White Spacemaker Microwave just stopped heating-you hear the motor running but the light inside grows bright to dim by a few watts while going thru any cycle of heating. Any answers?

The magnetron has probably failed, there are also two other parts that can be a factor, the high voltage capacitor and diode, the high voltage is generated by these items which in turn heat the food.

I can not find a model number on my microwave but I know it is 800 watts/convection. Can you please tell me how to change the light bulb - I have removed the glass covering but cannot see how to access...

I would browse the manufacturers web site until you find your mode.
The bulbs are normally accessed from either an inspection cover in close proximity to the lamp or by removing the outer cover.
Hope that helps

Microwave display light is very dim model JMV8208BCB

The display is growing weak. It cannot be replaced separately as it is part of the control board. Sometimes removing the control board and cleaning the display and the inside of the cover will help some if it has a smokey appearance. However this is best left to a professional.

My Frigidaire microwave wont heat up but the timer and lights work. When i press start, the timer starts but there is no sound and it doesnt heat. The microwave is less than a year old.

this may be another bin job, if its not heating up its likely to be the megotron,, thats one of the pricy bits that go out like a light bulb, ask if your shop sells the tester that you put into the microwave to see if its pushing out any radition at all, if its not i would bin it and get a new one, dont try fixing it yourself,,,,,,
you could kill yourself, there is well over 1000 volts floting about inside the unit, tuch the wrong bit and you grow wings prity fast, be warned

Everything on oven appears to work, but does not heat.

from what your describing it sounds as if you have burnt the antenna off of the end of the magtube if this is the case if your microwave is no longer under warranty due to the cost of the part you may be better off to purchase a new microwave.
