Question about Epson Perfection v600
The line was faint at first but after scanning more slides it got stronger. It appears on the right side of the scanned image about 1/8 inch wide. I just bought this scanner 2 days ago from London Drugs in Saskatoon
Probably is just a dirt in scanner glass, try to clean the glass with eyewear cleaning wipes.

Make sure the white document matt from uner the lid has been removed. Also in Epson scan make sure you have changed the document type from reflective to Film and Colour positive.

I had this exact same issue with two Artisan 800's. I was told it was a hardware issue. Both were returned under warranty to Epson. Have since had problems with ADF and that printer was returned. Warranty has now ended. Expecting to buy a new printer shortly: they last about 4 months before having problems. It won't be an Epson even though that's all I've owned for 10 years
