Question about Hoover HDC6 Electric Dryer
I've had my Hoover condenser tumble dryer for about 18 months and now when I try to press the start button the motor starts, but then stops as soon as I release the button. The button pops out straight away but if you keep your finger on the button the motor continues to work.
I think you may have a bad relay on the motor, where power is re-applied after the push start is released
