"Like there is no compression" simple first thing to check is the spark plug tight. Quick way to check compression hold the saw by the rope if it drops compression is weak. You could remove the muffler and check the piston, scoring is no good or the piston ring could be stuck from carbon build up. Carefully try and push the ring into the groove, with a small pocket type screw driver (flat blade). It should move and in and out. Another way is take a pencil with an eraser. Slide the eraser along the piston by the ring. You should feel the ring. What model Jonsered?

My jonstred chain saw has no choke lever

Ian Duncan...

I have no idea if you are bragging or complaining...

I WILL TELL YOU ... I have started many many a chain saw... and the chokes are nearly useless...

FIRST RULE: always use only fresh fuel...!!

Proper sequence for an ice cold saw (optimal adjustment)...
- squish the fuel bulb a couple of times
- set the choke
- couple of yanks until it coughs...
- completely release the choke and the next yank will get you running

If you have NO CHOKE... JUST leave the THROTTLE ALONE
until it coughs... Then start juicing the throttle...

What's a jonstred? Oh... Jonsered

Dont wont to start to much fuel in cilinder

Never pull the starter more than 3-4 times under full choke. Pull 3-4 times on choke, push in to half choke and pull, should start.

I have a jonsered chain saw with broken Isolator spring the parts # 545006036. Where can I get one and a parts catalogue for this problem 3

My suggestion is to find a good lawn and garden shop that repairs chainsaws. Take the saw there and they should have parts. If the shop is a Jonsered dealer your chances are better. I would start with the yellow pages under SAWS.

Chainsaw oil do not lubricate

It's probably clogged up. Empty the oil out and blow it out with compressed air. Make sure you use oil designed for the purpose.

Choke wont stay in the closed position for starting

Been a while since I saw a Jonsered but I think if you bend the choke linkage a little that it will stay in the choke position.
