How do I get standing water to drain from bottom of dishwasher

I usually get a wet/dry vac and remove the drain hose from the air gap and or garbage disposal and suck it out that way. I have also seen people use turkey basters. Towels work great too. What is wrong with it?

What type of power steering fluid does a 2002 buick lesabre take

I've found that SeaFoam TransTune works wonders and often quiets pumps that are a bit noisy. If the fluid in it is particularly dark you will want to suck out as much as you can with a turkey baster before refilling it.

Car battery corroded, terminals white. Jumped car but doesnt rev. Must it be alternator or could a dud battery suck the juice from alternator to stop car reving?

I would take the battery out and have it checked, or, you might want to invest in a modern battery charger that can also check the charging system as well as desulphate lead acid cells.

Drain some transmision fluid

Suck it out with a turkey baster with a long hose attached, or a siphon kit for a gas tank.

Change fuel

Suck it out with a hose ... remove the tank and dump it ... pump it with a pump ... draw it out with a turkey baster. This isn\'t difficult.

Does it have a fuel tank drain?

I am guessing that you have a fuel tank under the seat. If so, there is no drain. It has to be sucked out somehow. I had to do this for a neighbor recently on his JD, and I used a turkey baster to **** it out and put the fuel in a bucket. It works, just never be able to use the baster again for cooking, but they are cheap to buy anyway. When you get all the fuel out look down and make sure that it is clean of stain, varnish, or debris. You may need to rinse with fuel to get it out, shooting and sucking with the baster. This system works, I know for a fact.

Now you need to purge the fuel line of bad fuel. You do this by finding the fuel pump on the engine. It is the round, black thing on the side towards the back but not on the back. It has three hoses, fuel to the pump, fuel from the pump and a line that uses changing pressure in the crankcase to operate the pump. Find the line between the fuel pump and the carb. This line will most likely have a fuel filter in it also. Remove the line at the fuel filter and redirect to a bucket and turn the motor over with the key to operate the pump and flush the bad fuel from the line. Before putting the line back on a fresh fuel in tank, replace the fuel filter and drain the fuel from the carb and clean the bowl of the carb. If you are lucky, you may get away without a carb teardown for cleaning.

I hope this helps, if any more questions about this, just reply and I will get back to you.

My nephew has put diesel in the wrong tank on our mower!

No big deal:) easy to fix that problem! you engine isent damaged in any way.

Just remove the diesel from the tank, make sure all diesel is out.
Fill the tank up with the fuel it takes, restart it. It might take a moment for it to start, but it will start sooner or later, dont give up, it need to get all the diesel out from the tube and that can take a couple of minits.

Good luck
