SOURCE: Account Deactivated by an Administrator

It seem's random account de-activation has been an issue for awhile , according to one website here are 13 reasons you may get deactivated......even after reading this your best bet is to e-mail facebook support and see exactly what the deal is...sorry this happned to you!

Here are the things that (supposedly) will get you kicked off Facebook:

1. You didn't use your real name
Don't try to use a nickname (or initials)in lieu of the name on your birth certificate, because Facebook will find you and spit you out.

2. You joined too many groups
Remember that the maximum limit is 200 groups per user. More than that just looks desperate, don't you think?

3. You posted too many messages on a wall or in a group
Even Guy Kawasaki had his account disabled--in his case for "excessive evangelism."

4. You posted in too many groups, too many user's walls
You may be axed for being too verbose in too many places. That's what spammers do, silly. On Facebook it is better--or at least safer--to be seen than heard.

5. You friended too many people
Not so long ago this was a prime cause of disabled accounts, but Facebook has instituted a maximum of 5000 friends that should protect you from yourself.

6. Your school/organization affiliation is doubtful
The overlords are sometimes not very trusting, and they may accuse you of not graduating from Harvard (or Plum Senior High School). The impertinence! Better have your diploma ready.

7. You're poking too many people
We've heard this from multiple sources, and it's easy enough to avoid. Save the pokes for people you *really* like, as mum always said. But beware the odd FB app that pokes on your behalf.

8. For advertising your app on wall posts
The line between spam and self-promotion is a thin one, but let it be known that pimping your shiny new Facebook app is definitely considered SPAM.

9. Using duplicate text in multiple messages
Some people paste a generic welcome message into friend requests to save time. DON'T DO THIS! It makes you look like a spammer. (Ironically, pro spammers are probably randomizing their messages to avoid this trap)

10. You are a cow, dog, or library
Being a real person is not enough, you must be a **** sapien. Accounts have been deleted for cows, dogs and libraries.

11. You are under eighteen years old
According to one report a user's account was suspended when they suspected her of being under 18. She was required to enter a work email address to prove her maturity, at which point her account was reinstated. [note: other users have pointed out that being under 18 is fine if you're part of a High School group, though underage home schoolers have been told to bugger off]

12. You wrote offensive content
Reports of "sudden death" on accounts have been reported by users who were told they had posted offensive content, but were not provided details of the offense.

13. You scraped information off Facebook
They have a zero tolerance policy for page scraping (i.e. pulling content off their web pages via a script). Unfortunately, they don't have a reliable way of proving it's you who's doing the scraping (IP matching is probably as good as they can get), so you may find this a difficult charge to defend yourself against.

i had the EXACT same problem. You need to remove "notification+vordzee@facebookmail.com" from your blocked senders in your hotmail options! After that, i managed to get the security code. I totally understand how frustrating this is because no one could help. Hope this works for you

SOURCE: i cant open my account on facebook and its asking

As soon as your account creation process is completed, an email has been sent to your email with the security code. This is for verification. I hope that you've received the confirmation email, if so please do check it again. Or else, try using the "Forgot your password" form (click the link to open the "forgot your password" form)

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Locked out of my Facebook

There can be several reasons for which your Facebook account can be locked. One reason to lock the account would be if it detects security problems with your profile. Trying to help you unlock the Facebook account, please follow the instructions mentioned below:

-Navigate to Facebook and attempt to log in to your Facebook account. If your account is blocked, you'll see a security page informing you your account is locked.
-Click on 'Get help from friends'. This option allows you to unblock your account using security codes supplied by your Facebook friends.
-Select at least five friends with whom you know in real life and contact on a regular basis outside of Facebook. These friends will be provided with a security code from Facebook to help you unblock your account.
-Click on 'Continue'. Facebook will provide all the friends you selected with a URL they can visit to obtain a unique security code.
-Contact your trusted friends offline and ask them to supply you with the security codes sent to them from Facebook on your behalf.
-Return to Facebook and enter each security code into the fields provided.
-Click on 'Continue'. Your Facebook account will be unblocked after 24 hours of having entered the security codes.
If it does not help, please contact Facebook toll free helpline number (1800-258-2590).

Someone as hacked my facebook account and is inviting people to be my friend and also is carrying on conversations with my friends, I changed my password. What else can be done to stop this person?

Click here to recover your account..
https://www.facebook.com/hacked

After you recover it, I recommend setting up Login Approvals to ensure it doesn't happen again.

What are login approvals? How do I turn this setting on? Login approvals are an extra security feature similar to login notifications, but with an extra security step. If you turn on login approvals, you'll be asked to enter a special login code each time you try to access your Facebook account from a new computer or mobile phone. After you log in, you'll have the option to give that device a name and save it to your account. You won't have to enter a code when you log into any of these recognized devices.
To turn on login approvals:
  1. Go to your Security Settings page ( 851580_142488495957208_1588909839_n.png > Account Settings > Security)
  2. Click on the Login Approvals section
  3. Check the box and save your changes
A few things to note:
  • You need to have a mobile phone number listed on your account to turn on login approvals. You can add one to your account when you turn on login approvals.
  • If you haven't named the device you're using, you'll be asked to do so when you turn on login approvals. Don't click the Save this device option if you're using a computer that other people use (ex: a library computer).
  • After you turn on login approvals, we need to be able to remember your computer and browser info so we can recognize it next time you log in. Some browser features block this. If you've turned on private browsing or set up your browser to clear your history every time it closes, you might have to enter a code every time you log in. Learn more.

The password i signed up with is not working. help

I guess we all go through this password problems in social media networks. Try doing the following,

First thing that you can try is to re-enter your email or password, to make sure that you have not just mis-typed the information. If you try multiple times, and you get the same error all the time, you are entering the wrong password.

RESET YOUR PASSWORD
If your account password is not accepted, you can try to get it reset. You can do so in a number of ways on that page, for instance by entering your email or phone number, your Facebook username, or by entering your name and the name of a friend. If you fill out the information correctly, you will receive an email with password reset instructions.
It may happen that you can't fill out the information correctly anymore.

If that is the case, you need to open the "I Can't Identify My Account" page, where you need to fill out lots of information.
Facebook users do have another option. The - relatively new - get "help from friends" option can be used to recover your account access as well. You basically list trusted friends on the recovery page, which will receive a special code sent to their email addresses. You then need to collect those codes, for instance by phoning the friends, and entering the codes on the Facebook site.

Face book gave me a pass word but i cant remember it and my email address is spelt wrong so i am not getting any mail

you can use the recover account procedure but it does require that the account already has friends on it as they will send a message with a security code asking them to click on a facebook link to confirm you as who you say you are and they then give you the code you need 3 codes to recover your account.

i just did this with my mom who moved from state to state and forgot her account and the email on the account was on the previous Internet Provider.

Facebook Recover - https://www.facebook.com/recover.php

enter your username (you will need a friend to login and get it for you its the part after the facebook.com when they clikc your profile, if there is no name but numbers like id=00000000 those numbers will work as your user name)

then on the next screen you will see your account and a listing of emails addresses you can click no longer have access to these and follow the steps from there

Lost my facebook account for some reason and would really like it back kevin raney

I'm assuming that when you try to log in to your Facebook account you get a message saying Incorrect Email/Password Combination. I'm also assuming you have tried to recover your password using reset password feature. If not, click here to give it a try. If this won’t work there are good chances that your account has been hacked.
