Hi,

This fault is a bad or open sensor to the oven, the control unit can't see the oven temperature and won't run it if it can't control it.

I hope this helps

Whirlpool Oven GW395LEGT6 Replaced the oven temp sensor But oven will pre-Heat and run for 15 minutes then shut off with Error code EO F3

Have you tried pulling the connectors off the control board and reinserting them. If you still have problems the control board could be the issue.

Hit "bake" or "broil" button and temp setpoint

Hi

This Error indicates a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

I have a GE wall oven that does not heat up to the set point. Model JKP13GP. 75-100 deg cooler. The temp prob measures a little less than what is required. 1.00 in ice water, 1.07 @ room temp and 1.27 in...

Hello,

No the sensor is going to be the problem...at room temp it should be between 1060-1100 ohms. In boiling water it should be somewhere around 400 and in icewater it should be appx.2500-3000
The sensor needs to be replaced. The part number for it is WB21X5301 it can be purchased at your local appliance parts store or online at

I self cleaned the oven and over 12 hours later am getting a f2 error. How do I fix it?

Hello,

The F2 error code means that the oven over heated by at least 100 degrees and the oven temp.sensor needs to be replaced.

On the self clean cycle the oven temp can easily reach over 600 dergees and therefore the sensor thinks it got too hot. If you have not already done so the F2 can be cleared by pushing the CLEAR/OFF button on the control...if the F2 error code reappears the sensor has became defective and it would need to be replaced.

If the probe is not connected, then the actual connector in the oven is faulty. If you don't use the temperature probe, you can take the front control panel off and disconnect the probe connector. I did this 8 years ago

I have a Maytag Performa oven model pgr5710bdw. The Temp is all over the place, too high, too low and constantly changing. Cannot figure out what it will do next. I have already put in a new temp...

If you already changed your oven sensor, then your ERC or electronic range control is not reading your sensor correctly. You need to replace the ERC and its overlay. Not a cheap part. Also strongly recommend you buy a 2000 joule or higher surge protector to plug your range into, to prevent this problem from happening again. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

Oven won't pre-heat

This is a failed oven temp sensor. the control is not receiving a proper resistance signal from this sensor at this time. the control will shut down the unit if this is the issue. check the oven temp sensors connections form the control to the sensor housing for loose or worn contacts, if the wiring is ok, replace the temp sensor.

OVEN WILL NOT COME UP TO TEMPERATURE

Hello,

You can calibrate the oven on this model. Press the bake button, adjust the bake temperature up to 550 degrees and then press and hold the bake button until a 0 displays. Now you can adjust the oven temperature up or down to match the display.

Here is a repair manual link that you can use to download frigidaire repair manuals. The one for 30 inch freestanding ranges will have the section on calibrating the oven's electronic control.

Thanks
