My sunbeam heating pads keeps blinking F, what is wrong with it. I keep unplugging it and it still doesn't work.

There may be a plug on the pad end of the cable that is not hooked up correctly or you have the wrong pad connected if you have multiple pads or the pad has failed.

Why isn't it heating?

An internal overheat fuse may have opened. If so, the pad will have to be replaced.

My heated mattress pad controller just blinks

It usually means the cord isn't plugged into the pad very well. Check the connection and then unplug from the wall and plug back in.

Have a model 2150 heated mattress pad, one year old, with dual controls. One control is blinking and won't heat up the pad. I have unplugged twice and checked the plugs into the pad itself,

First, I am not familiar with your particular Pad. But they all work in a similar fashion. Second... you would be wiser taking your pad to an electrician if you are not competent with electricity. (Especially 240V AC where I am.)
If it's only 120v AC then the sting is not as bad. I've had Both!
The Pad is not worth your life.
That said....
Obviously the AC power is OFF & disconnected first.
Use a multimeter in Ohms or Beeper Mode to look for an open circuit in the element(s) inside the blanket.
If the pad connector comes to the edge somewhere then this is where to test the pins. No AC Power Needed.
On Ohms mode it should show some small resistance in the element. Thats why it heats up....
If the element is internally broken (open circuit) then I doubt it can be repaired.
A multimeter can be a useful tool in a modern house these days.
They can be picked up pretty cheap now. $10 to $50.
The probes can check for AC & DC voltages.
The current function would never be used by the average person.
The Beeper Test uses the internal battery for open & closed circuit testing. The Ohms function will show the resistance of elements and the like.
If you are unsure how to use one then ask the supplier or an electrician / technician to show you.

I had same issue w/ red blinking light on my Sunbeam controller SW114, pad CAT93. Was about to toss away but then got it to work perfectly by doing this:1. With unit UNplugged, press & hold the single grey controller button2. While pressing the controller button, plug the unit inUnit will power up in the 'warm' (green light) setting; pressing the controller button will cycle you thru the others modes.

Have heating pad model 818-7. blinking red light for high when connected- but no heat. what to do. I love this soft, terry cloth hour glass heating pad controller model number: SW204. e12107 is also on...

I had this problem with a heating pad too. I tried turning it off, unplugging it, then plug it back in and see if the light is still blinking. If it's not, set it to the temp you want. My heating pad was very temperamental that way, it didn't want to be set before it was plugged in. I hope this works for you.

Rinse Only light blinks

Try pushing high temp wash>heated dry>High temp wash>Heated dry   that should reset the control but it will most likely come back count the number of flashes before a's an error code could be a heating cycle failure.
If the control doesn't reset you have a control or touch pad issue.

Sunbeam Heating pad will not reset

I have a Sunbeam heating pad with the SW204 controller that the High light blinks when it is plugged in. I called Sunbeam and the first thing they said is it cannot be plugged into a surge protector. Next, to reset it unplug it from the wall, then unplug the controller from the heating pad. Wait 30 seconds, then plug the controller back into the heating pad and then into the wall. It did the trick. However, when I move it to the bedroom plug it does the same blinking. Sunbeam is sending me a replacement heating pad. They appear to be very good with Customer Service since it is more than a year old.
