Login to the router admin page using http://192.168.x.x. thats the IP of the router and you can see the fields to change the password. the ip address is usually mentioned on a sticker on the router itself. or else, let me know the make and model of the router and i might be able to get you the login details

Im trying to connect to the net on my inndo wii but it says i need an ssid number well i put it in but it still wont lemme me do it

SSID is the "name" of the network. It is what is broadcast by the router. Default is the name of the router for example I have a linksys and it said "linksys" until I changed the name of my network. You need to check the settings on the router. Using your computer type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar. You might get a pop up window that asks for a username and password. If you have never messed with the router then leave the user name blank and type ADMIN in the password. Once you access your router you can set the wireless settings by "naming" your network and setting up a "passphrase". You will need to remember the name of the network and the passphrase ro enter it in the Wii when prompted.

Hi Friend,
Please follow the steps:

2.Enter admin as password and leave the username blank. This is the default username password,in case if you have not changed.

Network Mode:Mixed Network name: As per your choice
Channel Width:20
Channel: Auto

At the back side of the modem there is a small reset button.Press and hold that button for atleast 30 sec while the modem is powered on.Now release the button. If you want to make any settings to the modem then open 192.168.1.1 in your browser. It will ask for username and password which are both "admin".

Helping my mom`s neighbor setup laptop wirelessly to main comp/ro

Well, first off its 192.168.0.1 (unless you changed it manually). You will need to go to http://192.168.0.1/ and enter your password. Then, once you have entered your password, you can roam around in your modem's configuration profile.

Forgotten network key to log on to secured wireless g router

Password recovery isn't really possible. Pushing the rest button in the back for a few seconds will reset the router to factory defaults. You will need to reset all the wireless security and such so best to do this with a pc connected directly to it. Default IP for it if you have changed it is 192.168.2.1.

Try getting into service mode and see if you can reset the user passwords by turning them off in the settings.

Do you know how to get into service mode?
