Sierra 4g blue screen

  • Remove all USB attached devices like drives.
  • You may need to roll back system with System Restore. Under Safe Mode (press F8 during boot and choose Safe Mode).
  • Win 7 - Start > Start > Search type System Restore.
  • XP - Is Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Restore. Now choose a date prior to problem. You may have to try a few dates.
  • Uninstall last program(s) that was installed, again in safe mode.
  • To eliminate possible bad RAM. Unplug PC, open case, and remove all RAM. Test one DIMM at time, one slot at a time.
  • Re-install Windows. Clean install works best, but all data will be lost.
  • Lastly you may have other hardware problems. If it does another blue screen after reloading windows, especially with a clean install.

Why everytime i turn my lap top on it says its infected and it shut off and the screen turns blue

Consider starting your computer up in safe mode. Hit F8 during boot up, and make sure you choose to use networking mode.

Download Malwarebytes, a great program to get rid of the bugs on your system. If you still can't download when in safe mode, consider using someone else's pc and download it to a thumb drive.

Install it in safe mode, and run it. You may have to run it more than once. This is a great program, and I recently used it to get rid of the conflicker bug off of 3 systems that had similar issues. Having it on a thumb drive was what saved my hours of head ache.

good luck

The screen disply reads "harmony safe mode", we purchased the remote with our tv @ 1yr ago, but recieved no tech papers or cables to hook to lap top. Thanks Steve

The Harmony 550 uses the same UB chord as most digital cameras. It's a Mini-USB .

Also, you will have to download the Harmony software from http://logitech.com/myharmony.

Now, please do the following to get your remote out of safe mode:

1. In the software, click "Downloads"
2. Click on "Firmware."
3. Update the remote
:)

Can i plug my big blue plug from my pc to my lap top i cant find internet?

If you're asking if you disconnect the blue usb cable from your pc and connect it to your laptop, the answer is yes. but you also need to install the driver for the usb cable to make it work on the laptop. you may call your internet service provider so they can help you with that.

Usb dosnt work well how can I solve it

Hi,
first we need to know if it is a software problem or a hardware problem
1) for this we need to boot the system into safe mode
restart the system at teh blue dell logo start taping the F8 key and you'll see a menu that gives you the option safe mode
select it and press enter now try to use usb check if it works
if it does that means your drivers in normal mode are corrupted
you might need to go to support.dell.com and install drivers for usb

if it is not working in safe mode, restart the system again
this time at the blue dell logo tap F2 key and you will enter bios check here id the usb is enabled

a good place to see more help info is go to http://support.dell.com
> technical support> enter service tag > search for usb issue

further queries are welcome
