I would have completely taken the laptop apart and washed and dried the keyboard separately and dismantles the keyboard itself to wash the insides of it where the rubber with the carbon paint touches the contacts. I would have avoided isopropyl alcohol. I don't know where to go from here.

This sounds like a hardware issue. Try using a USB keybord to confirm that it's only your laptop keyboard. If the USB keyboard doesn't work properly, then you should run a virus scan and update your laptop's drivers.

If you've spilled liquid in your pc shut it down immediately, remove the key caps, and clean the domes with Isopropyl Alcohol on a Q-TIP.

If your usb keyboard won't work, and you haven't spilled liquid: Pry the key up and check if your rubber domes are broken. Sometimes keys that are used frequently will break. Try placing a piece of paper on top of the dome, and snap the key back on.

Spilled coke on my keyboard, how do we clean it

Hi

Thank you for your query

Best thing would be to get a damp cloth and simply wipe over the keyboard when the laptop is switched off, this will remove the stickyness.

Please ensure when wiping that no water travels into the keyboard which may cause you problems

Stuck keys thanks to girlfriends Margarita.board still works but keys stick. Getting rid of her want to save the keyboard. How can I clean? new sony viao wireless keyboard for desktop.

Not sure if this is different to a std keyboard but in cases like this I'd

Turn keyboard over, remove retaining screws noting position and order and take out the plastic membrane, wash thoroughly with mild detergent and dry thoroughly. Remove keys in turn, clean with warm water dry and replace. Any other stickiness an be removed with isopropyl alcohol or similar and a q tip or lintless cloth , gently clean. reassemble.

My dsc-t70 had diet coke spilt on it. pictures are bright+white.

I'm afraid so.
I understand that you cleaned the lens (externally accessible elements)?
In theory fixing this might be a matter of stripping the camera and cleaning it up (preferably with isopropyl alcohol), but this is fairly fiddly and it's easy to make things worse.
In any case, liquid spillage onto any camera might cause unpredictable effects. I noticed that coke spill is often not as bad as water as coke doesn't corrode the tracks on logic boards as rapidly and instead turns into "sticky goo". However, due to its stickiness it often causes various mechanical issues. Light distortion could be caused by the shutter stuck on open. Well, in any case, unless you are happy to tinker with your camera and completely strip and clean it, I can only suggest ebaying it for parts. Even broken t70s still fetch good prices.
Good luck,
Raf

Spilled coke on my CDJ 800MK2

Clean all the rubber and plastic parts with humidified towels, clean all teh metallic parts with 70% isopropyl alcohol solution, to prevent oxidation.
Be careful no liquid is being dropped or leaking inside unit when cleaning.

If coke had been spilled inside the unit, on the circuits, you will need to take apart the unit and dry well using an hairdryer from distance , if circuits are sticky, use cotton and pure isopropyl alcohol to clean after drying.

I spilled little coke on my lapi sony lf v30, but some of keys are not workg might be 4 keys... how can i skolve this

You'll have to remove the keyboard from the laptop, pull off some keys, and clean the board with a q-tip with a tiny tiny bit of warm distilled water or 99% alcohol or you can purchase some electronics cleaner solution from Radioshack.

DO NOT USE plain old water or soap or anything else.

Pay close attention to how the keys are attached to the white plastic clips, it's not rocket science and there are no special tricks to getting them back on except to use common sense.

If the above doesn't work you can always just purchase a replacement keyboard from ebay for relatively cheap.

Hope this helps.

Best of luck!

Dell notebook keyboard malfunction

try to press the key using screw driver or any pin that you can press into the keyboard..but remove first the top key..try pressing with some screw if its typing,if not its mean the logic board is damage and you need toreplace a new one...if working with the screw pressing..repalace with a key button only with the same lock.
