Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional for PC
You may not be the victim of software counterfeiting. Microsoft implemented the Windows Genuine Advantage Tool in 2005.
This 'tool' was designed to find counterfeit copies of Microsoft software. The tool has a LOT of fallacies!
Look on the back of your computer, and look for the Windows Product Key, if you have a desktop computer. It is a 25 character key.
5 groups of 5 characters.
Should be a hologram type of sticker, and next to the computer model name and serial number.
It's on the bottom of a laptop.
The Genuine Advantage Tool has a place you click on, and then you enter the Windows Product Key.
Should this not work, you can call Microsoft Support. Tell them you believe the Genuine Advantage Tool has made a mistake, and would wish this corrected.
IF, you genuinely know for a Fact, that your copy of Windows on your computer is not genuine, I would advise buying it from someplace like Tigerdirect.com, or Newegg.com. (Believe it's $99.95)
You'll find they are cheaper than Microsoft, plus you'll have the Installation Disk itself, instead of a download from Microsoft after you pay them.
This way should anything happen in the future, that you need to format your harddrive, and re-install Windows fresh, you'll have the installation disk.

Switch to Ubuntu. It is free and includes an office program, and has no viruses. Google Ubuntu, you will like it. It runs faster than XP and it shuts down and starts up faster.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Try this site to download crack for genuine windows validation:
or if it really worst and your computer is lock by the program then you can re install your operating system then after you finished installing your new Operationf System then diable the Automatic Updates by accessing to your control panel then click Security Center then Automatic Updates and click diable or turn off Automatic Updates. In that way you can prevent your computer from downloading Updates from Microsoft and prevent downloads of other Windows validation program.

You are running a pirated copy of Windows which happens all too often.
You are best advised to contact your local computer retailer and purchase a new licenced copy and maybe even upgrade to a newer version to ensure you dont lose your own documents and pictures etc.
Your other option is to contact Microsoft directly where they for a fee will be able to ship you out a kit to sort this issue out.
