The universal motor that runs your fan may be shot or there may be a short circuit to your fan.

Best thing to do if your not used to fault finding with an electrical tester is to ask your local appliance service person to make a house call. You can reduce the time he spends at your house by having access to the suspicious part of your oven ready for him when he arrives.

Hope this help. Let me know.

Have a chef fan forced wall oven model number EOC624W - everything working except there is no heat

Check the house circuit breaker for the oven. If 240 isn't present, everything else will work except the heating element. The circuit breaker will have it's handles joined so if one trips they both trip. Unfortunately, this doesn't always work, Meaning one can trip without tripping the other so only 120 volts is supplied to the oven.

How to fix noisy fan in chef fan forced oven

Possible fault in the bearing bushes , in the first place you can spray a WD40 or even some light oil into the fan's rotor ends where the bearings are located. If the sound reduces clean and wipe off excess oil from the shaft side. Also make sure that the fan leaf is not making the noise due to any dirt accumulation or obstruction.

Converting fromTown Gas to LPG in gas cylinders

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. If your range/oven doesn't seem to work at all, check these:
Fuse/circuit breaker
Check to see if power is getting to the range/oven. If even a light won’t turn on then check for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker.
Main wiring
Often the main wiring connection from the house, at the range/oven, gets burned and so breaks the connection. Then you may have to replace the power cord to the range/oven, and the terminal block that the wire is attached to.
Range/oven wiring
There may be a broken or burned wire at the back of the range/oven. If you repair any of the wires, use only proper appliance-grade wire and wire connectors.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

No power to Magic Chef Electric oven

I'm not familiar with this oven, but it ought to have protection against this kind of exciting burn-out.
This could be a fuse: find it and replace it, or it could be a circuit breaker: look for a reset button.
As I said, I don't know this oven; this attempt to help is based on the general idea that it ought to have some built in protection.

I am trying to replace the element in a chef upright electric fan forced oven. There are three wires white black and yellow and need to know which is live, return and earth? Is there an easy way to test...

Hi. Here is the information you seek. The black and the yellow are both hot wires since you are dealing with 220 volts. The White is the ground, or earth. IF you are not comfortable working with electricity you may want to seek out professional assistance. If not, at least turn off the power at the circuit breaker box or remove the fuses.

Micro ios totally black . Had to reset the breaker ; is that a clue/

It has a fuse inside. Check the door switches while you're in there. The one in series with the fuse can weld in the "on" condition and blow the fuse and/or the circuit breaker.

Microwave stopped working completely

Fan turned on after cooking because a thermostat got to hot and tripped turning on the fan to try to cool the unit.  The unit went completely dead when thermal fuse tripped which is located above the cavity on the left side.
