Where can I buy the Aube 7-Day Programmable 40-500w timer

You might be looking for T-1032 or T-1034 500watt timer
Identify model number on following link, and then google-search that specific model.
Link to instruction manual appears for each timer.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Aube-timers-and-manuals.html

Honeywell Aube in-wall timers can be used for single-pole or 3-way applications.
Look at instruction manual carefully for 3-way wiring.
Timer can be used for incandescent, halogen and CFL with minimum wattage requirement.
Since Aube timers have internal battery, they cannot be exposed to freezing temperatures or high temperatures.

Aube/Honeywell timers have internal rechargeable battery that powers the display.
Battery is not replaceable. Plus the electronics inside timers are susceptible to power surge.
Without the display, timer cannot be used.
These timers come with standard 1 year limited warranty.

I have the lightswitch timer. i have it programmed but it doesnt' go on unless i touch the switch. it shows auto and on before the correct time of 7pm. if i shut off, then auto on and a flashing off...

Most in-wall timer manuals suggest re-setting timer to restore functionality.
If re-set does not restore timer, then timer is probably bad.

To download Aube manuals:

There are 3 things to remember about timers.
1) Line noise and bad wiring can affect electronics inside timer.
Buy cheap circuit analyzer at home center and test nearby outlet that is on same circuit breaker.
2) Aube timers have internal rechargeable battery and cannot be exposed to temperatures below freezing
3) Industry standard is 1 year limited warranty on timers.

It just blinks on/off no matter how i program it and manual mode does not allow me to turn on. everything was fine until i switched to daylight savings time

You posted under Aube timers.
Resourceful do-it-yourselfer would include brand and model number for ease of identification and best possible free answer.
Open following link to identify timer and access on-line manual
http://waterheatertimer.org/Aube-timers.html

Most digital programmable timers say 'reset' if timer stops functioning as expected.
Aube reset button can be pushed using paper clip. Usually hold-in button for 3-4 seconds.
Other timer brands and models use different method for reset, including holding down on-off button while reset is pushed.

If timer will not re-program or function correctly after reset, then timer is probably defective.
Aube timers have internal rechargeable battery that is not replaceable.
Most in-wall and plug-in timers have 1 year limited warranty. If Aube timer was exposed to cold temperatures, then warranty is probably voided since cold temperatures adversely affect battery life.

How to change the day

You posted under Aube timer.
If you have different brand timer, add a comment with clear description of buttons so I can find the correct model number and post best answer.

Open following link to download manual for your Aube timer.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Aube-timers.html

For example with Aube T1032: If you have different Aube timer, then open that manual for specific instructions.
Press PGM button to select Program1 ON.
So 1 and ON are displayed.
Press Day button to select choice of days for Program1 ON.
Press HOUR and MIN buttons to select ON time for Program1 ON
Next, press PGM button to select Program1 OFF.
Repeat steps for Day, Hour, MIN.

When program is finished, close and press the cover to return to normal operation.
Last, press and hold cover until AUTO is displayed, and now program will operate.

Will your timer work inside a cold garage though the winter?

Fixya doesn't make timers.
Honeywell makes the Aube Timer
Aube timers are a new product with a rechargeable battery.
Batteries are susceptible to cold temperatures just as you suspect

I sent an e-mail to Aube tech support about your question.
As soon as they answer, I will post their answer on this thread.

I do not understand the manual that came with my TH132 control unit. Can some one guide me so that I can set the heating for different times for Mon-Fri and different times for the weekend?

Aube technologies has a page with thermostat manuals
http://www.aubetech.com/products/list.php?noLangue=2&noFamille=1&app=1

Thermostat page shows 3 models for your TH132 (toward bottom of page)
Click the model number and it opens a second page
The manuals for each product are conveniently located on that second page, toward the bottom, along with a description of your product.

In my opinion, Aube (Honeywell I think) website is way ahead of the curve for customer convenience
Most other electric device websites have manuals located on a different page than the product
A lot of sites, like Leviton, have no manuals at all. Lose the manual, and you have to call their customer service like in the 1980's
Aube must want your repeat business.
