There should be a short circuit at its +B side. Just disconnect all the load from the +B, connect a 100W 220V filament type bulb [Not CFL or other type], as load, and switch the set ON. If power supply is OK, the bulb should glow with half its intensity.
If it does so, check the horizontal scan output transistor, which drive the LOT (Will be screwed to a metal heat sink), for any short. De-solder it out from the circuit, and switch ON the set, after connecting the +B voltage; and now measure the +B voltage. If it is found OK now, be sure that the horizontal output drive transistor is leaky, should be replaced. To get more details, http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ If you wish to get further assistance from me, come over by Fixya comment. OK. Good Luck.

SOURCE: JVC TV- MODEL AV-K21T.

it was not necessry to replace so many parts if you go as per proper procedure.please proceed as 1 isolate horizontal output section from power supply & make power supply ok. 2 if it becomes ok check hor osc,driver&h/output section. 3 if it is ok connect power input to hor.section which was isolated. 4 check for loose contact or print. 5 put on tv .

Jvc tv model av dx25,power on but no raster and sound

if you want to do it with your own, you will need a proper trouble shooting. which need the right device and tools to do the job and make sure you have at least a basic knowledge in electronic repair. the first place to be check will be the power supply section, you need to have voltage checking weather their is a secondary dc voltage from the power supply section going to the horizontal section. to turn on the other circuit and the flyback transformer. you have to know if their is a 135dc voltage at the power supply section, check at the primary capacitor using a digital tester.

If that is true the power transformer is probably open at the primary, the secondary voltages feed the receiver and power various parts. I suggest getting it checked, my worry is the power transformer may not be available from the parts manufacture.

Your battery may have a dead cell, take it out and test it, use a charger and a volt meter, after the charge if the volts are still low then replace it, or you could take it to a parts store and have them test for the dead cell.

I'm not getting any low voltage at the t-stat.

Make sure that the transformer has power on the primary side then check the secondary side for low voltage. If you have power on the primary and none on the secondary then replace the transformer.

JVC AV-36D502: Input #3 doesn't work

Good day sir, its a different issue, about the capacitor, for as long as your replacement part is correct, it will work, now, there are several things you should check, the I/O device that controls the inputs of the TV, usually an IC, check your schematic diagram to trace the fault. check also the line from the input 3 to the controller IC on your diagram. Measure the voltage across the IC Vcc to ground if the IC is getting the right power, Low voltage can be cause by faulty capacitors, on the power supply line, or the IC itself is faulty, Circuit analysis and voltage measurements are needed to trace the faulty part. hope this helps thanks.

Sanyo tv model no. ST-21G1 power indicator is just blinking it does not oscillate the horizontal output. what is the possible problem or parts to be replaced?

Check if Horizontal ouput is shorted.Check if you have B+ (135VDC) power supply and secondary supplies working(12VDC, 5VDC) and check if you have horiz. drive pulse from drive transformer.
A common fault for dead set is the capacitors in the power supply (secondary of transformer) - no 12VDC supply.

Does not power on. Q951 charred

you can look for the model and brand, look for it on the internet and see if you can have the schematic diagram, you're lucky if u can. Lightning will strike first the tuner side, if there is a red blink, the primary side may be okay in switching type regulator, just replacing the charred part may not solve the problem. look for shorted components on the secondary of the power section.
