SOURCE: I have sharp microwave oven

First I would suggest a "hard reset". Simply unplug the oven for a minute or two, then try again.

If it still fails, it may be that the keypad has failed, or there is a bad connection due to moisture, grease, etc.

This is an Australian model, so it's hard for me to give more specific information.

But one some US models the LCD and keypad connect to the circuit board via a rubber "zebra strip" and losing that connection can result in a loss of display segments and / or key response.

I've attached a diagram showing where one can clean to restore operation in this case.

SOURCE: hi wanna know LG authorised service centre in rawalpindi or islamabad who can repair my micro wave oven plz

follow this steps. God bless youwhere you must be able to read a wiring diagram and do some "live" checks on parts. First easy check is to make sure power is coming off your control board at the MW relay. Make sure of the wires and test here, if you have 120 volts at this point, you have ruled out a lot of parts that could be the problem. You have now ruled out any switch problems, control board problems, or a thermostat or 2.
If you do not have power from that MW relay on the control board, you must trace the wiring back to see if the proper voltage is going through your switches, any thermostats, and arriving at your control board. Your wiring diagram on your sheet will show you where and what to test. Below is a general switch test troubleshooting guide.

mwswitchtest.jpg

mwswitchtest2.jpgIf the proper voltage is coming into your control board and you are not getting voltage at the MW relay, then you need to replace the control board. If voltage is interupted by a thermostat or switch from your testing to the control board, then replace that part.
Now, testing from the MW relay on to your transformer, high voltage capacitor, magnetron, and diode.Do not do any voltage reading from the secondary side of the transformer on, this can be a deadly microwave oven repair if you do not follow directions. This can result in electrocution and the "blowing-up" of your voltmeter, only do OHM testing with the power off and the capacitor discharged. Someplace in this circuit, usually before the transformer, you will have another thermostat to test. It is usually mounted on the magnetron. Do a quick OHM test to see if it is open or closed.
Now to test either the transformer, high voltage capicitor, magnetron, and diode, you must test each part separately. A good rule of thumb, if your capacitor is bad, change the diode also. Another note, if you are working on an OTR model and you have determined to be one of these "heating" circuit parts, you can not test these parts until you take the unit down. If you don't have the parts with you and you have to order them, order the magnetron, capacitor and diode and you will have a 90% chance of solving the problem. If it is an older microwave, order the thermostat also, most times you can return un-used, un-opened parts. Check with your parts supplier. This way you only have to take the unit down once.
To test these parts, scroll down this page and you will see a chart with component tests. Follow the instructions to find which part(s) are defective in your microwave oven repair.

Kenmore microwave model 665.60652000 no power

If your model 665.60652000 (or any other) microwave is dead (no display, no light when you open the door, no beeps when you press pads on the keypad) then I would recommend first checking the outlet. A toaster or hair dryer will give you a good live load test.

With a multimeter, ohmmeter, or continuity checker, check the fuse, then the thermal cutouts (aka TCOs or thermostats), and then if those check good, I would suspect the control board, which I can usually repair very affordably.

At my site, I have a video that shows you how to remove the grille and controller assembly in about 5 minutes.

Then find the technical sheet hidden behind the grille or controller. It's very helpful for locating and testing components.

Microwave dead

The first thing to do is be sure your outlet works and works "under load." The best way to test it under load is with a toaster or hair dryer.

You can also try powering the microwave from another outlet via long extension cord, but only for testing.

If the outlet is good, then the problem will be inside the microwave.

First unplug the oven. Then see my video here which shows you how to remove the grille and controller assembly on most over the range models.

If you have any trouble getting the grille off once the screws are removed, slide the hood vent grille to the left about 1/4", then then pull it forward. On some models there are L-shaped clips that fit into a slot to hold bottom of the vent.

There should be a technical sheet (hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille) which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

There were two versions of this model. The second version has more thermostats ("TSTAT" in the technical sheet).

Both version have a 20A fuse on the filter board, a magnetron thermostat (MAG TSTAT), and an oven thermostat (OVEN TSTAT).

To check the oven thermostat, you may need to remove the oven from the wall, in which case you should refer to your installation instructions. It and your owner's manual can be found online here.

If you have a version 2 model, it will also have a heater thermostat (HTR TSTAT), and a bottom thermostat (BOTTOM STAT).

When checking the thermostats, measure with a continuity checker or multimeter or ohmmeter. The fuse and all thermostats should read "closed" or near zero ohms.

(Ignore the "HOOD TCO" which will have thinner, more colorful wires. It will read open, and that is normal. If it fails, it shorts, and then the hood fan stays on all the time.)

You can order GE microwave parts here.

FixYa doesn't notify me when there's a response, so if you have other questions, please contact me directly.

Have purchased GMG 17E 07 SLGX Godrej Microwave &Grill, Did not recieve USER MANUAL. Please provide the same to enable to use the product Shweta

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, and a list of Dealers for spare parts, as required.

Just Google the manufacturer's name and follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they charge for the information that is normally free of charge.

I hope this helps.

Broken circuit board

If the fuse is good, it may be an open thermostat or thermal cutout (TCO) / thermal fuse on or near the magnetron or on top of the cavity / body of the oven.

There should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

We regularly repair these control units for customers nationwide by mail for $39.95 postpaid in about a week with a one-year guarantee.

Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your full model number) for more information & help.
