Question about Dryers
You don't give model/make. I assume you get a shock when you touch the cabinet. I assume, also, that the dryer stops if you turn the timer to OFF. Obviously a line-wire is frayed (not shorted) to the chassis. It could be the 2 wires (+ ground) going to the door switch or 1 of the wires in the harness going from the timer to the motor assembly.
