Question about Car Audio & Video
Push down on the middle of the speaker ,does it make a scraping sound, if so that means u fried your voice coil ,meaning if to much power goes into the speaker with being able to keep it cool it heats up so much that it cuts the coil and sometimes the pole that the coil is wrapped on right in half hope this isnt the case but thats what it sounds like....

SOURCE: how to wire a kicker 15 cvr
175W x 2 @ 2 ohms
350W x 1 @ 4 ohm
Your amplifier is not stable @ 2 ohm bridged. So you will have to wire them independantly on each channel.
+/- on sub to +/- on L channel
+/- on sub to +/- on R channel
Wiring the subwoofers in paallel will result in a 2 ohm load, which your amplifier is not rated to do. Doing so will cause heat buildup, and damage to the amplifier.

The Kicker model number 07CVR122 has dual 2 ohm voice coils, and can be wired for either 1 ohm or 4 ohms. Model number 07CVR124 has dual 4 ohm voice coils and can be wired for either 2 ohms or 8 ohms.
Kicker's wiring page is here: http://www.kicker.com/dvc_wiring
If you have the version with 2 ohm voice coils, you want to use the 2nd diagram for a final load of 4 ohms to the amp. The 1 ohm load is too low for the amp and will cause it to overheat and possibly fail. If you have the 4 ohm version, use the wiring shown in the 3rd diagram which is a perfect match for the amp.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Kicker CVR making strange noise
I purchased this kicker saturday. Monday mine made the same weird noise. wednesday i had time to take it back where i got it and they replaced it but as soon as i did it made the same noise. they gave me another one and said if i have problems with it they will replace it. i have a feeling this one will do the same thing. They told me it is a problem with the speaker so maybe try taking it back and telling them what happened and getting a new brand
