I believe there is a reset button somewhere on that unit that you can press to just do a quick reset of it. If you hold that button down, you should be able to reset the settings on it, including your password. Hope this helps.
I hope this helps you.

Usually, you can get away with a 12 DC adapter, at about 1 - 2 Amps, preferably switchmode. The center Pin is Positive & the Outer is negative. Most computer "Things" require 5 Volts & under for the IC's etc, and 12 Volts for Other communication IC's and Motors etc. So generally 12 Volts is a good choice. And you could get a 10 Amp unit because it will not matter as a unit will only "Draw" it's maximum, of whatever that is. So if the max draw was say 1 Amp, well a 2 Amp would be fine, but if the reverse were true it could not work. You also need a little head room, too which is why use use a 1:1.5 ratio, IE: The unit draws 5 Amps, your supply should be able to provide, at least 8. Now if you check on your unit it may even tell you the wattage, if this is the case, divide that figure by 12, that will give you the Current required in Amps, just get a supply with slightly more.
