If your electric motor is turning wrong, check the polarity on the battery with a voltage meter. Reversing the + positive connection with negative will cause the electric motor to turn in reverse direction.

WHERE DO I WIRE THE 24VAC CONTROL WIRING TO THE CONDENSER ON A LIEBERT 3000 air-cooled system at the condenser????? the manual is not specific

The control wires need to be connected to the power relay in the electrical box. The power relay is the switch that feeds hot 220vac to the cold side of the compressor and internals 220vac side.
Hope this helps. Kind of generic but should be obvious after you open the electricals cover. There is probably a wiring diagram on the inside cover.

How do I hookup an electric motor to 208 volt

If this is a dryer question, the motor runs on 110vac as part of the power circuit. If you connected the motor (new?) you would fry the motor. If it is a new motor just use the same wires. note the color and put on the new motor in the same way or order you take off the old motor. Lable or color code wires before you take them off the old motor. Hope I've helped. But if it's not dryer related and you actually have a 220vac motor. It will have a diagram on the lable.

Dryer no longer hot

Could be the element, thermal overload, loss of one leg of the AC supply, a burned off wire or timer. Do you have fuses or circuit breakers? If you have breakers reset the breaker and see if the heat works. If you have fuses check each with an ohm meter. One leg of the 110VAC will run the motor but you need 220VAC to make the element heat. (that is if this is a 220VAC dryer).

My new waterway executive 56 4 hp dual speed motor blew a 30 amp fuse when i started it for the first time. what is the problem ?

OK 750 watts per HP = 3000 watts or about 30 amps at 115VAC. You will need 40 amp breaker for that pump and No. 8 wire between the breaker and pump if you are using 115VAC. The inrush current on the motor would be high enough to trip a 30 amp breaker.
On the other hand, if it is running on 220VAC you may have the motor wired wrong. Read the instructions that came with the motor.

Brand new Frigidaire Electric Dryer gives Error E61. Store brought out another identical dryer with same result. Help please!

The problem is not with the dryer as confirmed by the other identical dryer brought by the dealer. The problem is in the wiring of the receptacle where the dryer is being plugged in as characterized by error code E61 which means the control board is receiving a high voltage. The dryer operates both on 110VAC for the controls including the motor and 220VAC dedicated for the heating circuit. The receptacle must be configured according to the specifications of the dryer. Refer to the diagrams below and configure the receptacle according the plug that came with the dryer. Voltage across L1 and L2 is 220VAC, L1 and Neutral is 110VAC, L2 and Neutral is 110VAC.

Note: You may need the service of a certified electrician for this task.

Which way does motor turn

The motor is reversible by changing the wiring in the box on the side or the back of the motor...
Look on the label on the side to see which wire need to be changed to reverse the direction of the motor..

For many motors you will reverse the 5 and the 8 wire....on some you will reverse the red and the black.. on others there will be a different combo....

on three phase motors you can reverse any of the incoming leads to reverse it...

Wiring for dryer heating element

on a electric dryer one leg of the 220Vac feed goes to the motor and then out of the motor to one side of the high limit thermostat then to the one side of the element. The other leg of the 220Vac feed goes through the cycling thermostats and then to the element. let me know if this helps. With a Model# I could give you an exact diagram.
