Question about HP PhotoSmart 1315 InkJet Printer
Could potentially be a defective ink cartridge out of the box (Yes, it does happen, even if they;re brand new). Try replacing that one again with a new one, and if that fails, then either the print head is dirty, in which case you can usually clean it with just a q-tip and some rubbing alcohol (make sure that your printer is off and NOT plugged into AC power when you do this), or it may have worn out entirely, in which case the printer would have to be serviced or replaced. Check either with HP directly, or with your place of purchase to see if warranty is available for this unit. If not, then it would probably be more economical to simply replace the printer entirely, rather than paying for parts and labour, and being without a printer for a while.
