No body seems to have a solution for me heating elment was fine fuse was bad replaced it along with thermal cut off switch since it was recommended, all was replace dryer was hot when first started now it...

I have experienced that not only when the thermal cut off fails it's quite often that the high limit switch is the cause and suggest replacing both at the same time. These switches are notorious for failing in series. Also a blocked vent can cause a build up in chamber causing a "detected fault" which can cause this sort of problem also. Be sure that your venting is sufficient and that there is not obstruction or kinking in vent stack.

No a kenmore 80 series dryer will not heat . if the heating elment is good & fuse is good what else could be the problem

The heating circuit is basically composed of the heating element, thermal cut-off, high-limit thermostat, cycling thermostat, and the motor centrifugal switch. The problem is very likely in the thermal cut-off and the high-limit thermostat located on the blower housing. The thermal cut-off blows when the high-limit thermostat fails and cuts power to the heating element. Both the thermal cut-off and the high-limit thermostat need to be replaced if the former is blown open. Click on the link below for the detailed instructions in troubleshooting this kind of problem.

Kenmore series 80 dryer . Drum does not spin, even when empty.

Good day,
If runs and heats, then the most probable cause is a broken belt.

Not hard to change. Below is a tutorial on how.
The Kenmore line is manufactured by Whirlpool.

I have a kenmore 80 series electric clothes dryer that will not heat. i am needing to know which part is the heating element, and describe what it looks like

Hi, The element is located in the back right side on most models. It is in a housing and has two red wires going to it. Also check the thermo stats if the element is ok.

Kenmore dryer does not heat

I have a kenmore series 80. Had the same problem...the fix was replacing the gas coils. The dryer would get hot for about 10-15min then nothing. The gas would stop firing but you could see the igniter glow over and over again. Hope this helps.
