Question about General Electric WSSH300G Front Load Washer
I have a GE WSSH300 and I have had many issues with it. I have already cleared the filter and looked for any clogs in the hoses. It begins fine, washes fine, and then when it comes time to drain and rinse it beeps and lights up. I have to push start for it to finish the load which it does just fine. It can spin, drain, and wash but it stops every time after the wash function and before it can drain and rinse. I'm going out of my mind with this, I have to go down stairs two times per load and it is making me crazy.
Is there a way to re-set the computer? It seems to think there is a problem with drainage. I have unplugged and tried to look for an error code. I pushed start and cancel and it doesn't blink and then I read to reset you push options and cancel.
Any suggestions or help would be great!
Be sure to rule out one of the simplest things first---be sure the button that gets depressed when you close the lid is still functioning (or even THERE) Sometimes, if you have had a severly offset load, this switch can become damaged. Some washers will not continue to advance if it " thinks" the door is opened.
